Yep ,, think I predicted a few months ago,,that the end of this season would see massive change at WCE. Coach and numerous big name old payers...whole new era for budgies,,,could be a tough graft for then for a year or two.

The list is not that bad bazza. Pick up a couple of quick mids, a decent coach (Roos will do me ;) ) and you may get a bit of a surprise at their competitiveness next year.

I hope for WA football that they get a Saturday coach and not another Monday coach.

One muppet suggested sumich, if that happened it would be the end of all wa football!

Good gracious me grump, finally common ground. I said in another post....please, NOT Sumich. I do wonder though, what do you mean about "end of all wa football"?

With all due respect to you guys, Ken Hinkley was overlooked for a lot of jobs before he landed the Port Adelaide job and he's taken them from basket case to finalist in one season

Lesson 1: You never know how a guy is going to perform until he is in the job

Also Lyon employed Sumich as an assistant. So we know that he knows his stuff because Lyon wouldn't tolerate any less.

I'm certainly not saying he should be Eagles coach or that he would necessarily be a success if he was, but the way you guys are talking you would think he was a complete no hoper

I hope they throw everything at Roo's and see if they can get him. If not him I think Scotty Burns might be the next best out of the list of names I can see.
