About time. Opinion will be divided but I’ll throw a rare bouquet to Albo. Well done. The bloke will be in demand for interviews and he will need to be very careful what he says. Speaking tour awaits, book deals you name it he won’t be short of coin for long but probably got a few legal bills to pay although his misses was previously representing him. Now his kids have got their dad in their lives so that’s the most important thing in all of it.

We dont want to weasel back here, well at least he pleaded guilty, a few months ago his Mrs said he was never going to do that, and gee what happened to the super sick Julian, footage shows him about 20 Kgs heavier, Prison food must of been good...anothe load of BS from his supporters.

Wonder how long before he stuffs up again.

Yes all this happened last weekend. 
And about time, as this silly saga has been allowed to drag on too long! The yanks tried all soughts of dirty tricks. The original Swedish rape allegations were false as one of the women said so. A bit of rare applause for the pm and federal govt on this case. Apparently Assange is appearing in court today and  being forced to enter a guilty plea to the trumped up charge.

Yeh they didn't like that videos were leaked of innocent civilians getting killed by their own. He is an Australian and poses no threat to us so why shouldn't he be allowed to return home?

Send me the link about the rape allegation being false? dropped yes but never proven otherwise as he never fronted them.

The reason it dragged on so long is because closet boy jumped bail, hid in an embassy for years and then kept dragging on the legal process via appeals.

Assange is tawdry individual, a thief and a traitor that disseminated our miliary secrets in a time of terrible wars that he never had to fight in, bleed for or watch his friends die in, and did so with unabashed look at me abandon.

He's never once spilled on Russia or China, ever wondered why??? they wouldn't be so kind to him, he would be dead.

                At the time (2009,10,11 or thereabouts) the Swedish supposedly rape case was splattered all over the news. At the time it sounded doubtful. Cutting a long story short, a year or two after the court case, one of the women said Assange and her did not engage in sexual activity after she said no because a condom was not produced. It's been said they spent most of the evening talking. After all if the woman says no, no means no I would have thought.
The other woman admitted to engaging in sexual activity on the night and was consensual. Not sure how that constitutes a rape? Most of us would have had a little rumpy frumpy between the sheets previously, without causing any sought of harm.
That is where the story could have ended, but the highly embarrassed yanks simply refused to let it go.
Then came the embassy years and the eventual arrest after the Americans had him evicted.
After Bradley Manning (whom was the original leak) was pardoned by the Obama govt, the saga could have ended there as well. Sadly the yanks still couldn't see it. Why pardon one and not the other is still a mystery?
I'm not saying Assange is an angel, it needs saying neither are many politicians or governments!
The Americans have previously criticised others for wrong doings and yet get upset when their war crimes are publicised.
My concern is what happens next? Does this saga stop others from reporting the truth? I guess time will answer that question.
