Has this bloke got anything other than his Crush and Kill the Virus line? Here is news for you McGoo, you don't crush and kill viruses so stop using these inflammatory words that you use to self promote yourself. All you can do is try to control or limit or stop the spread until at least 80% of the population is fully vaccinated and if you could Crush and Kill viruses then scientists would have done it by now don't you think? Grow up for fuck sake with your childish words.

Lets hope people here in WA don't get complacent and fooled by this control freaks black and white measures and put off getting the vaccine because we are living in fantasy land here. It is not possible to live in a real existence and keep the virus out.

What is happening in NSW isn't great but I think people are just fed up and frustrated. Get vaccinated people FFS. Why isn't Mark McGowan spending more of his energy getting that message out? That has to be the number one priority, not farrrrken lockdowns and living life wearing a fucken mask. I have had a fucken guts full of it.

bit like the gold standard jibe when people have died and businesses have folded and lots have suffered - not enough vaccine available yet to get things settled either

What is happening now in NSW was foreseeable, was expected and predicted.  If Sydney had gone into lockdown earlier it is likely that the number of cases would have been lower and it would have been a much shorter lockdown than what it is going to be.  You may not like it but the West Australian public voted for the approach taken by the state government here.  

How about getting stuck into the Morrison LNP federal government that has completely botched the vaccine roll out.  How many different positions has the Morrison government had on who should get the AZ vaccine?  Why did the Morrison government commit to 4 million vaccine shots by the end of March when the reality was fewer than 700,000?  Why did Morrison say that by the end of October that everyone who wanted to be vaccinated would be fully vaccinated by the end of October?

For the record the USA has recorded 606,215 deaths.

Funny thing is that ANU (another rampant left wing rabble) have found thta short sharp lockdowns are still a necessary part of the armory in the control of the virus.

They studied Vic, WA, SA and NSW and found that the quick lockdowns work in controlling the spread especially with the now more more virulent Delta and Lambda strains

On this occasion Grump I had no problem with the lockdown because of the delta variant, better to be safe than sorry but again we had very little community spread so is the long drawn out restrictions and mask wearing justified? Do we really have to wear masks for another 4 days?

Why? How is it justified? I would like to get one of these so called health experts come on and tell why we need to keep wearing masks when there are zero new cases for over a week now that are unrelated casual contacts.

A couple of observations:

New South Wales must "continue lockdowns until the virus is eliminated", the president of the Australian Medical Association (AMA) has said.
Dr Omar Khorshid issued a strong warning to NSW, urging leaders to "stick to their guns" or risk "disaster".

Now that NSW will extend into a 3rd week, Morrison has made the remarkable decision that for areas that are in lockdown beyond two weeks the $10,000 liquid asset test has been scrapped and people with liquid assets of more than $10,00 can apply for the $500 weekly payment.

2.5 mill AZ sent to Indonesia.  Oz government’s going crook at us (rightfully so) for not getting the jab.  When I got mine, none available in Swan Medical, none in Mt Helena, but I found some in High Wycombe.  The whole process is just another one of those mysteries.  Bit of truth here wouldn’t hurt.
