NSW Minister goes to country retreat & fined $1000.. Not good enough for someone in the know.
Nat Fyfe goes surfing & goes free. Next time you're in the surf just say "I'm with Nat"
At least he drove across three zones & had to wash that off.

When I first read the article, I thought the press had nothing better to write about and were wasting print again. But I suppose rules is rules and maybe he should have been pinged.

Fyfe crossing the zones was not the issue he had clearances for that as he was driving for his old man's company, but going surfing was the non-no. If he was let off then everyone else caught swimming where they shouldn't will also have to be let off. As for the NSW minister, well he's part of that NSW Govt that initially dealt so incompetently with the virus, so no surprise there.

So no one else is out surfing?
FMD we've turned into a nation of dobbers and snitches. FFS the bloke is captain of an AFL club and going for a surf is part of his physical and mental well being but let's be a weak cunt and hang the bloke.

Yet the same people will tell me how serious mental health is.

DD who gives a fark if he is a captain of an AFL club....not sure why you even put that into your comment....understand as an elite sportsman he needs to remain physically and mentally fit....got no probs with him surfing.... just sets a precedent now as SS has said....surfing to Nat, something else to another......just would of thought a fella who makes his money out of playing a team sport, with a no "I" in team approach....he would of stayed true to the "team" ethos and facilitate his mental/physical well being within his own neighbourhood bubble, like every other person is required to do at this point in time.....but hey good to see a captain of an AFL club leading from the front.....

Last night they had a story on the ABC news. What I was suprised by was the bias of the presenter in favour of the player. After the story, it came through that he had an 'exemption'; the presenter said something along the lines of: 'i am excited to announce that the player had an exemption'.

What happened to just reporting the facts -- the 'exemption' without the bias commentary? People can then make up their own minds.

Did you see the footage of the other dozen or so surfers out on the water? What's the farrrrken difference? Tall Poppy syndrome at it's ugly best and more Fremantle and Fyfe bashing.

Those of you criticising him would be lining up to kiss him on the cock if you passed him on the beach.

That this is even a news story is a reflection of people going stir crazy I think. Channel Eagle milked it for all it what it was worth, what a surprise!
