Chinese Olympic gold medallist Sun Yang has been banned from swimming for eight years for breaking anti-doping rules.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in London handed down the finding against the three-time Olympic freestyle champion this evening in Switzerland.

Well, well, well. That's very interesting to hear.
The board of the Caulfield Grammar School (where Horton attended)changed their mind not to name the newly-opened aquatic centre after him to protect its business interests in China following his refusal to share the podium with Sun at the world championships last year. Apparently the school also has a boarding house in china.
Wonder if that decision will be reversed now the chinese swimmer has been rubbed out?
