This is it; this is what MrM (DrM for those at home in 3 weeks) has been working all season for and that is to bring you a Grand Final write that delivers all across the board. MrM promised you at the start of the season to deliver Gold Plated Service and not dish it up on paper plates, well if you ask MrM he has once again delivered. We have 3 very exciting games of football on Saturday and who knows which way they are going to fall, but it will be 3 tight games for sure.

Away from the field, while MrM was not lucky enough to slip into the PFL Awards Night, MrM hears that one OZFooty punter must have been giving out the votes as the player he talks about week in week out took home an award, despite going 0/3 for his tips last weekend, obviously knows something about football. In all this though despite many opposing views, MrM will cherish this 2022 forum and is quite looking forward drifting off into the sunset, enough of MrM though, this weekend is about a little more than this great man, MrM thinks we should reserve a moment silence before each game this weekend given events early this morning.
Let us look at this weekend’s games.

Wembley v Wanneroo @Arena Joondalup

This is clash of The V here early in the Colts game. Wembley are undefeated this finals series so far and boast some very good wins over their opposition, this will be another tough game however as they face a Wanneroo side looking to go one better than previous seasons. Wanneroo have arguably been the form team all season and hard to go past them here.
Wanneroo by 3 goals

Whitford v Wanneroo @Arena Joondalup

This is another big game, with North Padbury being bundled out of the League last week, they may look to drop a few players back into their side, however it is hard to change a winning side form the previous week, so who knows what will happen. Wanneroo came out winners last weekend and will be ready to face the North Padbury boys come bounce down on Saturday. It should be a fascinating contest, North Padbury have been the form B Reserves side for a number of years and will probably be again next season too, however MrM going the upset in this one.
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Mount Lawley v Wanneroo @Arena Joondalup

Well the game we all want to talk about is finally here. Mount Lawley from early on this season were being talked up and results showed early they were going to be one of the teams to beat this season. After drafting in one of the Brother of Destruction halfway through the season, they continued to thrive and set the bar for the rest for the season. Wanneroo carried on some good form from last season into this season and grew as the season evolved right before us. After stumbling late, have managed to regain themselves and will know their best can get it done this weekend against a quality outfit.  Added in MrM is hearing solid rumours that a few handy inclusions are on their way from WP due to a nice fixturing quirk with a bye falling at the right time, MrM thinks it will all fall to Wanneroo this weekend and get the win.
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Good luck to all this weekend.
MrM out.

Going with Mt Lawley's Full Forward to kick 6 and tear the league game apart.

Listing league players in a C5 Reserve forfeit to qualify for finals & a Frequent Flyer scandal to be the bigger news in coming weeks.....

Also going with the Mt Lawley full forward to kick a bag, retire again, and leave his club in the lurch as ML get relegated from A Grade next year (just like the last time he did it).

Thanks for your inputs Tug and Duck, I have actually accumulated a vast amount of frequent flyer points over the last few weeks. While I've got you here, any commentary from the weekends games? I'm excited to hear about the big bag from the Mt Lawley full forward.

It's also worth mentioning that the shiz seems to have gone awfully quiet since his multi went up in flames at the train station last week.

Yes the FFwd from Mt Law should of kicked a couple in the 1st qtr, could of been a different story, but wasn’t the only reason why they lost……….Mt Law clearly below their best and made Wanneroo look better. The way Wanneroo supporters carried on with language and taunting all players was shocking, and no one from Wanneroo tried to shut this down. The comments in the stands from neutrals about the behaviour was on point in saying how disgraceful it was, but must be accepted at Wanneroo. Then you have another 15 or so players running onto the ground  still with minutes to play and again no control.

Keen to hear how the statement made on here from another poster of a player and his  flights etc plays out. A WP player?

Well done to the 22 players from Wanneroo on your win, well deserved.

The amount of heads I am living in, rent free is astounding! I’d be a poor man if I had to start paying for it.

I know it is difficult for a Wanneroo supporter to understand given the average IQ is less than 90, however as I explained in the previous thread, it was a response to another poster.

Interesting to know the story behind the player having his flights paid for in order to qualify and play in the finals. Mr M care to comment on this?

WCE1987, given their crowd behaviour hasn’t changed in 20 years, I can’t believe you are still surprised with how they carry on. As I stated before, the fish always rots from the head and given Mr M flat out refuses to set an example for his club, the Wanneroo bogans are given free reign to abuse players, supporters regardless of age or gender.

Well congratulations to Wanneroo on an amazing year. To make 5 grand finals and win three is a sensational effort and all the haters must agree that this is a big achievement.

in the B grade, the Roos just had the upper hand after quarter time and lawley never really got into the game. Roos seemed to just have the answers all day and celebrations kicked on over the weekend.

Looking ahead, Wanneroo should feel confident heading into A grade with all B Grade teams making the GF. It’s a big club with 7 teams. This follows a number of years being around the mark at the top of B grade without making the final two but essentially consolidating their list and club. You can’t do much more than that and have good balance across the league team and multiple ball winners and goal scorers but will continue to look to improve the list to be ready for what is a hard competition as we all know. A good relationship with WP puts the Roos in good positioning to access players that don’t get a game or retire.

Mt Lawley also had a good year and had all B grade teams make the finals too and there colts also won last year too. They rose quickly this year after not making finals the last few years so theyd want to build what they have now around the quality EP players they got. There a big club too and know what A grade is about. I reckon they will want to add another forward or two as where will there goals come from if mackinley retires as some have suggested?. They may need a big CHB id say to handle the A grade forwards. They got connections with EP as well so let’s see.

coming down is north Fremantle and basso. I expect north freo to be strong along with the rest of the top 5 from this year. Basso to struggle I’d say.

all in all a good B grade comp this year and pretty even too. Enjoy mad Monday and summer ahead

Well MrM thought we got to watch 3 good games of football on the weekend.

Pretty easy to sit back and say if this happened, then the result could’ve been different, the 3 best sides won on the day and well done to them all. As for the running on the ground, bizarre, but the umpires handled well I would have thought.

Unsure about the crowds comments and behaviour, MrM is a little hard of hearing in his latter years, but unsure what a weekly blogger like MrM can do to stop crowd comments?
“Hey everyone, don’t call out?”
Does this satisfy your requirements ?
What happened to the age old adage of sticks and stones?

I fully agree there though TheShiz, must be something really wrong at Wanneroo in 2022. 7 teams in finals, 5 grand finals and 3 premierships, call in the liquidators I’d say, cut that fish head off.

FIFO workers are the backbone of the economy and you want MrM to respond to baseless rumour-mongering? Again, unsure what a weekly blogger like MrM could say?
Perhaps less salt on the tequila shots at a certain Mexican Bar on the beachfront yesterday would have helped,, but if you want that salt life, be salty.

Thanks for thinking of MrM though, much appreciated.
