Well what an exciting week of football we had last weekend and we are now left with 4 sides all with a chance of winning it. With 2 good games of football played last weekend, expect no different this weekend for all. As far as MrM (DrM, 40 days for those playing at home) any side can win on any day and this really excites MrM. The gauntlet was thrown last week to challenge MrM to write upon all games being played this weekend, well MrM has news for you and that will just not happen. MrM can provide comment and say is really looking forward to seeing how the earlier games go this weekend, as for a write up, well if you want, MrM will deliver later.
Off the field though could there be any worse week for a football club than Essendon? (Carlton – well you are close) but how good that change will come and there is only one former premiership coach out there worthy of the job, who is currently at another club…guess for who that is and beers on MrM – if you can find him.
Let us look at this weekend games
Mount Lawley v Whitford @Inglewood Oval
This is the big game; this is for a spot in the Grand Final as well as A Grade next season and form line suggest this game is going to be a massive one for both sides. Mount Lawley will be refreshed after a week off and know they have a tough task against the North Padbury boys this week, after one a few weeks ago. North Padbury had a good win last weekend, and will no doubt be taking confidence form their last month heading into this game. Both these two sides are matured sides and I think will be a tough hard-fought game. The difference is, Mount Lawley probably have the edge in their forward line, so that is the way MrM will go.

Wanneroo v Collegians @Wanneroo Showgrounds
It is no secret that Wanneroo let one slip last weekend and doing so at home might just be the extra kick they need to make a push through finals to get it done the hard way. Being back at home this weekend will be a boost for Wanneroo, but Collegians are no easy team to face and they will definitely be up and about. The Golden Triangle gents will be full of confidence after results in recent weeks and will know their best is good enough to get it done away form home. Will be a fascinating battle at the Showgrounds but MrM think Wanneroo at home, to win.

Good luck to all playing this weekend.
