We are finally here with some finals upon us as and MrM (new tile coming in just over a months’ time for those loyal followers) hopes all the contributors throughout the year finally come back and not to just slander one another, but to at least offer some opinion or thought, that would be MrM’s wish, no matter how mindless some may be. We have 2 very good games of football this weekend so if you can get down and check them out, as MrM would like some feedback.

Outside of football, MrM has some bad news to bring you will, and despite rumours MrM has not appointed himself into any Ministerial Roles and will continue to just be leader of the B Grade Forum, despite many trying to take MrM down, they have failed to do so so MrM reins supreme.

Let us look into this weekend’s games.

Collegians v Baldivis @David Cruickshank Reserve

What a game we have here, with the Collegians boys no doubt up and about after knocking off ladder leaders Mount Lawley last weekend they have a difficult challenge this weekend as they face Baldivis who should be quite proud of their efforts to make finals in this first season of B Grade. Collegians do play their ground well, but equally Baldivis have some good match winners too so will be an interesting contest for sure. MrM likes Collegians, but also likes Baldivis, I think we might go with what we know here and say Collegians to get it done at home.
Collegians by 2 goals

Wanneroo v Whitford @Wanneroo Showgrounds

This is a big game for both clubs, with the winner advancing to play Mount Lawley next week and the loser facing a tough battle with the winner of the other final, so plenty to play for indeed. Wanneroo last weekend managed to fight through the mud at Canning Vale (yes Canning Vale) and record a good win, meanwhile North Padbury did the same up in the Valley and sent the Ath packing to C Grade. It will be a tough fought game, and Wanneroo at home, is very hard to pass up, so once again MrM will go with what he knows.
Wanneroo by 2 goals

Good luck to all.

A dry weekend of footy ahead should please most people and give the ovals a bit of reprieve.

I like Collegians at home against Baldivis by 3 goals. Baldivis beat Collies at the Shank in Round 4 so will be confident of a good performance. Disappointed MrM did not back in his darkhorse call and immediately tipped against Baldivis in week 1 of finals. Could an upset be brewing?

Wanneroo have found a way to beat Whitford during the H&A season and I think they will do that again in front of a big crown at the Showgrounds by 2 goals.

In the Reserves, I like Wembley who may pick up a few from their League side if they're lucky to get the job done against Collegians. Mt Lawley will have to travel to the Showgrounds and play Wanneroo despite finishing 2nd. I'll go Roos by a goal on the home deck.

In the colts, Swan Ath will do enough to beat Onion Rings and Mt Lawley will be too strong for Wembley.

Well this is the exciting part of the year and some very good games are coming up in all grades.

Collegians v Baldivis - A very good game and not forgetting Collegians got the win at the junior oval last time. You would think they would be a couple goal better side at home this time. Stop Baldivis number 6 will go a long way in getting the win as he is their best player. Collegians at home by 4 goals

Wanneroo v Whitfords - Massive game and Whitfords would like their chances here. Will Whitfords tag Raykos? Will Wanneroo be able to slow Whitfords down in general play? Could go down to the last 10minutes and Wanneroo finished fast a couple of weeks ago against Mt Law. In a close one Wanneroo by 9 points.

Reserves - Wembley will gain some players and will be too good for Collegians. Wembley by 3goals

Mt law v Wanneroo - Do Mt Law get the home team change rooms here? Mt Law would also get some players back due to the league having a bye. So I am hoping Mt Law to get the win by about 4 goals here.

Colts - SA to get the win as they will be at full strength and a big push to win the big one. Mt Lawley to be too good as well over Wembley.

Mr M, if you appoint yourself as a leader be interested to see your thoughts on the Res/Colts too in the B grade.

Watched both League games today, thanks to the invention of live streaming.
Collegians embarrassed Baldivis, with Whitford out working Wanneroo in the second half to record a convincing win.
