Only 3 more Rounds to go and hasn’t it been a whirlwind of activity of late, we still have people commenting from events 2 weeks ago which really tickles MrM (DrM in 60 days for those playing at home - but who is counting) and it is good to see the commentary is alive and well. Let us all hope that this commentary stays the course and we manage to finish the season accordingly.
On the field, well things are heating up and while there have not been many upsets of late, anything can happen in the remaining 3 weeks, as we look to what is going to happen in August and September and this has MrM excited. Finals positions in contention and we are still have a battle for relegation, with the world’s worst saying floating about as we draw the season to an end which is - “Still mathematically possible” .
Let us look at this weekend.
Swan Athletic v Baldivis @Swan Athletic Sporting Club
Swan Ath, the time is now to get moving, a loss here and I am afraid you will be in relegated at the season end which will be a shame for all, and one does wonder where it has all gone wrong this season. The other is Baldivis, a win here and they can still push for a home final berth, while a loss will see them fighting for a spot in the finals. Can Swan Ath do it and try and keep the miracle alive? MrM thinks no.

Bullcreek Leeming v Melville @Beasley Reserve
Bullcreek, a win and they should be safe from relegation, however, can Melville steal one before the seasons end. Bullcreek have everything to play for this weekend and will need to put their best foot forward to avoid any unwanted surprises. Melville have done it tough all season, but this is a genuine game they may be able to win, can they do it, they are destined for C Grade next season, but why not take Bullcreek with them. Bullcreek to win though after everything MrM has said.

Wembley v Ocean Ridge @Pat Goodridge Reserve
MrM asked and Wembley delivered with a big win last weekend throwing them out of the relegation race and just into no-man’s land for the remainder of the season. Onion Ridge suffered a loss last weekend and fell out of the Top 5 so will need to win here to ensure they can keep touch results depending. Wembley at home are good, but Onion Ridge have plenty to play for. I think Onion Ridge for the win.

Mount Lawley v Whitford @Inglewood Oval
This is easily game of the round, with plenty for both sides. Mount Lawley are flying and looked to be ready to flex their muscle as shown in recent weeks, this weekend however will be different as they face a tough North Padbury side. North Padbury got back to their winning ways last weekend and will want to make sure they don’t lose touch with the top 2 with a loss here and could even lose their position in top 3. Will be fascinating viewing for sure. Get down early and watch the Colts if you can, will be fantastic viewing given recent results, will one certain team fail to register a score for the fourth time this season? Either way, Mount Lawley to be too good here.

Collegians v Wanneroo @David Cruikshank Reserve
Another big game, with Collegian’s setting themselves for a big game here after last week’s loss. The boys down at the shank will know that they need a win to keep up their charge for the top 3. A Win and they may find themselves in that spot come 5pm Saturday evening. Wanneroo have battled in recent weeks but have got the job done so MrM will be hoping for more of the same this weekend. A win will give them a boost, and surety in the top 2 spots, whereas a loss will see them sweating on a top 3 spot. Will be a good day at The Shank by the sound so things Wanneroo to get the job done here.

Good luck all, stay safe and dry.
