You know the saying, be careful what you wish for, well MrM finally got his wish, and the hysteria came raining down on the B Grade forum last weekend and didn’t the public relish. MrM is careful though and we know MrM loved it but could not respond this week because after a busy week, MrM will finally be able to be known as DrM from September 30th, that is right ladies and gents, DrM (although not allowed to use this name due to trademark issues).MrM is so unsure where to even begin with the utter nonsense listed in last week’s post, MrM did love North Padbury talking about President conduct though which is the height of irony if you ask me. So let MrM clarify, yes MrM was in attendance, no MrM is not the President, there was no brawling in the crowd, and rumours are circling about certain club officials’ suspensions well MrM cannot confirm or deny. It was great to see everyone comment though, perhaps we can keep it all civilised this week and enjoy the football, because we do have some exciting matches this weekend
On the field though, while we might all need our gum boots, and goggles to get through, only a few short weeks left for every side to get through. We have 6 sides duking it out for finals, while 4 sides are still every chance of being relegated and it makes for fascinating viewing. If you can get down to games on the weekend, let MrM know how you go, everyone seemed to love last weekend and commenting so more of it please.
Let us have a look at this weekend games if they are allowed to go ahead due to impending weather.
Baldivis v Bullcreek Leeming @Baldivis Football Oval
Well, this is a big game for the Brumby boys after being absolutely blown off the park last weekend due to player unavailability they will need to finish the season well if they are to play finals this season which would be a fantastic achievement. They come up against Bullcreek though who are needing a win to avoid relegation and they pulled out a good one last weekend, can they do the same. I think Baldivis will get it done at home.

Whitford v Collegians @MacDonald Reserve
This will be an interesting game for both sides here. Whitford will be out to make sure they don’t lose another game and fall further down the ladder as Collegians look to sure up a top 3 spot on the ladder. Those North Padbury boys will want to make sure that they bring their best against a very tricky Collegians side who will be tough to put away and Collegians will know if they can be there or thereabouts, they are as good as a side as any to get the job done. If you are early, get down and watch the colts (no one seemed to last weekend sadly) at least one side may score this week. I think Collegians away, might get it done in the wet.
Collegians by 2 goals
Melville v Mount Lawley @Melville Reserve
Unluckily for Melville a loss this weekend will see them in C Grade for 2023, while they have put up some improved performances, it probably comes down to just winning a game this season however for the second time in 3 weeks, they face the top of the ladder and Mount Lawley will not be holding back. Mt Lawley job in the wet will be to get in and get out without much damage, and I think well it will be wet and blowouts minimal, they will get it done.
Mount Lawley by 4 goals
Ocean Ridge v Wanneroo @Heathridge Park
Well, what an interesting game this shapes up to be. Onion Ridge will know if they can keep winning, they will keep their finals hopes alive, however a loss and they fall right back and perhaps even out of finals, results depending. Wanneroo last weekend though, got through and will be wanting to make sure they can do the same this weekend, however playing at Onion Ridge is no easy feat, especially as your change rooms are over 250 meters away from the ground, chances of drowning high, but bring your goggles, and flip flops. Wanneroo to win here in a tight tussle.
Wanneroo by 3 goals
Wembley v Swan Athletic @Pat Goodridge Reserve
This is game of the round for mine. Wembley, who knows what has happened to this club this season, they seem to have fallen away dramatically and things are not looking great for them as a loss here puts them in danger of dropping down once more. Swan Ath have had a resurgence this past few weekends, and if they can sneak another win here, anything is possible for the boys form the Ath. This will be a close game, I think Swan Ath might just pull a victory away here, you never know your luck.
Swan Athletic by 2 goals
Good luck all, stay dry and see you all commenting on non-existent brawls in the crowd next week.
