We are back again with another week of exciting football and MrM is looking forward to this week, as you never know what is going to happen. One thing for certain is that you know MrM will be here and you can expect big things but also expect some big things on the field with some nice weather upon us for this weekend, it is sure to be a good one.
Off the field though could anyone be having a worse time than any WA sporting teams in behind the scenes? Wildcats, Eagles, Glory the ridiculousness of each club knows no bounds and while it is not quite South Bunbury levels, we must be a laughing stock to the country over here. As MrM is enjoying his daily commute to the coal mines he is reading another off-field departure and this troubles MrM, throw in the awful BBL Draft they want to introduce, and it’s been a whirlwind for all who love domestic sport, which is MrM. That is MrM’s rant for the week and thank you for tuning in.
We can now turn our attention to this weekend and have a look at a few games
Swan Athletic v Collegians @Swan Athletic Sporting Club
Well after witnessing Swan Ath last weekend, it would be hard for them to win games of football kicking backwards and flooding oppositions forward lines, but that is just MrM point of view. They face a Collegians side who would be also desperate to keep up that winning streak after a demolition of Bullcreek last week. I think that Collegians even though they move away form the GT will be reunited with fellow RM Williams wearing bandits and escape with a win.

Wembley v Wanneroo @Pat Goodridge Reserve
What an interesting game we have here with the battle of the V with a big opportunity for both sides here. Wembley are a side who need a win this weekend, a loss and playing finals becomes very hard for the Wombles. For Wanneroo a win is needed to solidify their place in the top 3 and continue to push for that double chance come finals time. It should be a fascinating encounter at the oval where parking is an absolute premium. MrM cannot wait, but Wanneroo too good here.

Baldivis v Whitford @Baldivis Football Oval
Now this is a big game for both sides, and MrM does not use this term lightly. The Brumbies down in Brumby land are a hard team to pass up and we all know that they are fierce competitors so it will be interesting to see how they go against the ladder leading Whitford. To their credit, the North Padbury boys are a team that is going very smoothly, only dropping 1 game in the top 2 grades is a good sign of depth. At Baldivis win is needed to keep up in the top 5, Whitford dropping a game is never a bad thing, I think Brumbies at home might be too good. If you’re early, I would suggest watching the Colts game too, would be a great game no doubt.

Ocean Ridge v Melville @Heathridge Park
The Onion ridge boys are sitting just outside the top 5 but have won more than they have lost so all hope is not lost for them, this weekend gives them a good opportunity to fight back some percentage they have lost along the way. Melville well its not secret they are struggling as they limp along to the finish line. They are still a chance of avoiding relegation, but they would need to start now on a ground that is complete opposite of what they know at home. Onion Ridge boys too strong here.

Bullcreek Leeming v Mount Lawley @Beasley Reserve
How can Bullcreek bounce back after a weekend like that last weekend where they were totally outplayed by a side is the real question. Things do not get easier for them though because they are up against a side that is ready to go in Mount Lawley. Mount Lawley continue to go about their work in a wonderful manner and if it wasn’t for WCE 1987 pumping them up every week, who knows how they would get on. MrM does hope they have themselves a clash jumper here, in what should be a good contest Mount Lawley will be too good for mine.

Good luck all and see everyone soon.
