Now the dust has settled over in the nation’s capital MrM can sit back, as reading the papers each morning on the train had become increasingly difficult.
We all know MrM is a sucker for the broadsheet as well so try reading that on a train full of the heel clackers who parade along the terrace. What does this have to do with P.F.L B Grade MrM some may be asking, well not a lot really, other than MrM is like Francis Bourgeois and loves his daily commute.
On the field things have never been tighter than they are right now, and this brings quality from all involved, not like the dribble being spoken on here, but on field seems to be thriving. MrM did enjoy the ole “Hope you know the WAFL song” on the weekend (MrM travelled to 2 grounds and heard this at both grounds from both grounds oppositions supporters) so as MrM pointed out last week, do not be bitter, be better.
Alright enough nonsense let us look ahead to this weekend.
Swan Athletic v Melville @Swan Athletic Sporting Club
This could have game of the round written all over it, with both sides yet to register a win in 2022 and what better way to do so then heading into a bye and losing all momentum. Swan Ath have put up some good performances recently and they are at home this weekend meaning this is their game for the taking, however Melville may have different ideas. Melville are the other side struggling in 2022 but this game does present itself as a real winner. Will be an important game for both clubs, but I think the Ath boys at home will get it done.

Mt Lawley v Wanneroo @Inglewood Oval
The Lawley boys suffered their first loss of the season last weekend and will not want to let another game slip up especially as they have been flying so far. Things are looking good for the Beaufort Street Bandits, (new moniker, keep it MrM says so) but they face a Wanneroo side looking to get things done away form home. Wanneroo snatched victory last weekend in a spirited performance and know this is a big game on a new deck and it has MrM excited. Especially as exciting is MrM overheard on the train today it is Ladies Day as well, which is a terrible idea as we know MrM soaks up all the attention. Will be a good game and MrM to walk away with a MrsM

Collegians v Ocean Ridge @David Cruikshank Reserve
The ole Collegians boys were full of voice last weekend, all 3 of them who hung around and they nearly snatched one of the great wins, but it wasn’t to be, with Collegians suffering losses on and off the field as the seat of Curtin switched to teal. On field though, things looked great, post the dew kickers in the morning, and Collegians are building something strong. Onion Ridge had a good strong win over good quality opposition; however, the Western Suburbs boys will want to rebound and make amends for that. MrM just hopes one of these clubs can find a clash jumper, not having one in 2022 is farcical, but we digress. Collegians too good here.

Bullcreek Leeming v Whitford @Beasley Reserve
It is hard to get a reading on Bullcreek, with some mixed results, and only 2 wins, but have a healthy percentage, so things are not all doom and gloom for them, however they will need more wins, to avoid that relegation battle. Whitford though are fresh off the win of the season and full of confidence, and MrM can see them inflicting more pain, but would it kill the North Padbury Boys to put up the Colts score? Every other grade gets love, but no Colts, sad times. Either way, Whitford to win.

Wembley v Baldivis @Pat Goodridge Reserve
The Wombles were nowhere last weekend away from home and is it true they do not go back to their club when they play away and Cottesloe use it? Odd, but they are at home this weekend and you would think they are a better chance however Baldivis are not to be forgotten. The Brumbies are a club on the rise and this weekend is a great chance for them to keep touch with the top 3 in the ladder, and more importantly stay in touch with finals. MrM would proud to be a Australian with a Brumby on his chest… However I think they can and will get it done.

Good luck to all, looks to be a beautiful day planned tomorrow.
