Well I guess I'll start her off as no one else will. Congrats to Basso for getting to the big dance and their first opportunity at big time football. Had a couple of outs on the weekend so will be intriguing to see if they come back for the final or potentially any of them play 2s (that have qualified) this week.

Huge crowd at Wanneroo and watching from the far side, Wanneroo will be spewing especially with the other 2 teams having a win. Don't kick straight and that's what happens. Could have been up by 4 or 5 goals at quarter time, didnt take the opportunities and then the class of Basso took over.

Ridge sound like they were in the same boat and will be spewing about the chances they missed. Nevertheless, a strong season from a team tipped to be relegated. West coast will want to be better this week but have the opportunity for that much prized promotion which they have missed out on for the last 3 seasons. Will this be the season? Who knows.

Shock of the week was Whitfords reserves. Saw the teamsheet with a couple dropped back. Would hate to go out in straight sets.

Any thoughts on games would be lovely!!

Wanneroo v Basso
Watched the stream provided by PFL on my day off Sunday and what were the commentators doing 🤦🏻‍♂️

A good game of footy even in the last half when it was blown out a bit. Wanneroo up and about early as expected but didn’t capitalise. Didn’t really have many winners on the day and you would suspect that this will ignite the fire.
The difference was Bassos ability to score when in front of the sticks and off the back of transition footy.
They looked impressive in the last half- pressure game up and skills very very good. 
Wanneroo folded in the last?? Maybe cue in the rack to save themselves for this weekend?

A big congratulations to basso- they hve copped it on this thread the past two years- from what I saw they played very tough footy but nothing untoward. Seen on the socials C2 in 2017 to A grade 2022- Amazing and credit where credit is due. Battle now is not go up and straight back down. 

West Coast v Wanneroo this weekend at the Showgrounds. Another big crowd no doubt with both sides now hosting two home finals which is great for the bank account moving forward.
