We are back for another round of football this week and it has been pointed out to MrM to stop sooking, so this is exactly what MrM will do. We will focus more on football and less on one individual attempt to discredit MrM we turn our attention to a very good week of football.

There is 5 important games of football and we are on the way to finals and the relegation battle heats up as well. All finishing spots are up for grabs, sadly as much as MrM would like, cannot see the top 5 changing the order though will be interesting as for the relegation battle, it could be anyone.

With the weather hopefully holding off for a few days, let us look at this weekend.

Bullcreek Leeming v Kingsley @Beasley Park

A big game for the bombers here as they look to cement their top in the top 3. They do face a Kingsley side though looking to avoid relegation and you know they are going to be hungry for a win. Bullcreek are firing though and things are starting to click for the, however Kingsley are the danger team as desperation does wonderful things. I think Bullcreek will be far to good though.
Bullcreek Leeming by 4 goals

Ballajura v Mt Lawley @Kingfisher Oval

This game means everything for both these clubs. Ballajura at their home deck they know they can beat the best but doing it week in week out is the challenge. Mt Lawley though, from all reports last week were very good as well taking it right up to Wanneroo only to fall short. A few teams will be very nervous about this game as this result has a huge impact on how the relegation battle sits. I think Ballajura at home will win, and then set up an interesting few rounds relegation wise.
Ballajura by 2 goals

West Coast v Ocean Ridge @City Beach Oval

West Coast are the form team of the competition and will be looking to give themselves more breathing room from the pack. It will not be easy this week when they face the Onion ridge and here’s hoping they have that clash strip organised as navy and black, with the same secondary colour can be confusing to the untrained eye. Both clubs have big grounds, so I think that will help neither, but have a feeling that West Coast will have a win.
West Coast by 2 goals

Swan Athletic v Whitford @Swan Athletic Sporting Club

Another big game for these sides. As it currently stands Swan Ath will be playing C Grade in 2022 and we know they are too big a club for this to happen. They nearly got it done against the Onion boys last weekend, but against Whitford, they may have a better chance. Whitford aren’t to be counted out in this relegation battle either, as they could potentially be only one game away from the drop and face a tough run home. Swan Ath at Swan Ath are quite good, and I would think they should get it done here.
Swan Athletic by 2 goals

Wanneroo v Bassendean @Wanneroo Showgrounds

A huge game at the pristine looking Wanneroo Showgrounds. 2 out of the 3 times these sides played it has been decided on the siren. Wanneroo were back to the winning ways last weekend, but they know it means nothing when they face the big boys from Bassendean. Bassendean are still the team to beat according to MrM and all sides will be trying to do so form here on in. It will be a big ole tough game at Wanneroo Showgrounds, with MrM hearing Ladies Day is on, he may wander down. Wanneroo at home, back to winning here.
Wanneroo by 3 goals

Good luck this weekend all.

Interesting games ahead of us this week. MrM, not sure why you think BCL are in form and firing. They have lost the last 3games...

BCL v Kingsley - This is an opportunity for BCL to try and gain some form back and at home. Kinglsey lose this and I think it will be odds on for them to go to C grade next year. This reason should make Kingsley go hard at it. But I think BCL to bounce back by 4goals.

Ballajura v Mt Law - Should be a good game on the smallest oval in the comp. A few milestones for Ballajura will give them incentive and they havent been too bad this year. Mt Law have improved as the year has gone on. They have only been beaten convincingly in 1 game against Wanneroo and last week were up for half the game against the same team. So definite improvement has happened. Still hearing around the smoko table that they have a few injured players out and may not return so they could be tested. Would like to get to this but the WCE are on at the same time. But I think Mt Law get up by a couple here.

WC v OR - GOTR, This would be worth getting too on what should be a tight game. Both have so much to play for and trying to get the double chance. Both sides have decent midfield and forwards so could be a shoot out. WC By 9points

SA v Whitfords - SA deserve a win. Quality club and they look like they are giving youngsters a go within the club. If the big fella can make an impact they will be hard to stop . SA at home by 2goals as well.

Wanneroo v Bassendean - Another good game. Are Basso too inconsistent? What team will turn up on the day. Wanneroo were a bit shocked last week but still good enough to get the win, thanks to a good last quarter. could equally be the GOTR as well. Possible of another high scoring match and the winner to premiership favourites. Wanneroo to lift their game this week and get the win by a goal after the siren....

Not long left in the season and plenty to play for.

Creek by 5 goals not because they’re flying but because they’re 5 goals better than Kingsley.

Mt Lawley by 3 goals but ballajura always better on their home patch so who really knows.

West coast by 5 goals. Coast to ramp up here as we head towards finals and put the onion rings to bed.

Swan Ath to do a number on Whitfords. Yukich, Polich and Munt to all kick goals. A couple of Whitfords men playing in the state game last night will be sore and tired.

good game this one. Ba$$o to win by 2 points in a toss up for me.

Looks like we might get a nice dry day out there but grounds will still feel heavy underfoot id imagine. 4 games left and so much to play for down the bottom of the table.

Bullcreek v Kingsley
Kingsley have a lot to do to save themselves. Wont start this weekend though, the creek are too strong and will hop back on the wagon today. Creek 6 goals.

Ballajura v Mt Lawley
Huge game for these two. The royals haven't been as bad as their ladder position suggests and neither have the Hawks for that matter. Be a cracking game. Ballajura 1 goal

West Coast v Ocean Ridge
Coast in form, Ridge stumbling a little. The extra pressure B grade brings just starting to take its toll on the kids methinks. West Coast 4 goals

Swan Ath v Whitfords
Another game with so much resting on it. Warriors starting to look like finally getting it together this season and ill back them here to continue and keep their place in B grade. Whitfords 3 goals.

Wanneroo v Bassendean
Heavyweight clash. Im going to go Basso for absolutely no reason at all. Will be a great game if you can get out there to watch.
Basso 1 goal

Short and sweet today.

At first glance freo, there doesnt look to be a wafl league player amongst their ins, and is timed with the EP reserves bye? Whitford’s one game wonder Kody Manning, ex wafl league 100+ gamer and WP premiership player, is a different kettle of fi$h.

Freo, cant answer your questions as I dont know. Not discussed and I am not privy to who gets selected there and why. Interesting you mention you have been out of the game for a while but chip back in just to have a go at someone. Good form hey!

Had a look this morning blunder and spot on. The players named look like they are fringe reserves players from EP.  Most clubs have some fringe players that come back to their club of origin if they dont get a game. Not flown in for 1 game. Anyway,it must of been a good game of footy as Lawley got up by a point.

Cheers Blunder/ WCE just stating what you two cried about a couple weeks ago.
Well done on the win. Keeps you out of relegation zone.

And to add club of origin fair enough:
Rhett Lloyd- North Albany
Sam Van Diemen- Bridgetown
spider Lockitt (what a name)- Mt Hawthorn jfc

I am all for players coming back from wafl clubs and playing in the PFL- my comments are made as the saying “don’t throw stones if you live in glass houses”

When a 100+ game WAFL premiership player who trains with U asks for a game because he can't play country that weekend, only a complete idiot would say no.

Apparently he's a good chance to play at Whitfords next year.

But keep sooking WCE1987, you are starting to get a reputation.

Well Wanneroo did the job on Basso yesterday in the late game and in front of ladies day. The Roos have a couple of powerful forwards who can seriously kick a football. It sure makes a team more dangerous with that sort of ability up forward knowing that once it’s down there, they’ll take care of the rest most times. Pretty even spread of talent across the field too which is needed to be successful at this level and higher. Well done to them with their pink jumpers raising money and awareness for breast cancer too, a nice touch. The ladies seemed to enjoy it too.

whitford$ surprised me with a win over swan ath. I assumed their big forwards would do the job but fell a goal short. I’m sure Manning won’t be offered any $$ to make the move from the country next year.
