Let’s hope we all enjoyed the weekend off MrM definitely did having a good weekend down south, a good time for some relaxation before we hit the ground running again. With 5 important games this weekend, MrM cannot wait, am sure our good friends lurking in the shadows will be ready to pounce on the comments section below as well. This weekend is ready, set go...

Bullcreek Leeming v Whitford @Beasley Park

Bullcreek from all reports let one get away against Wanneroo last round, but know back at home they can make an impact moving forward, they do face a club needing to win though. Whitford as it stands are staring down relegation and will need a few upset wins to turn that around. This is a big game, but can’t see the North Padbury gents winning here.
Bullcreek Leeming by 3 goals

West Coast v Bassendean @City Beach Oval

A preliminary final rematch here. While they haven’t started the season as many thought they would West Coast have had many injury concerns this season, Kennedy, Shuey Allen... but all are due back soon... (fantastic joke and I’m sticking with it) Bassendean had a shock loss last round, but we know they will be bouncing back this week. Will be a good game, can see Bassendean winning by a kick or two.
Bassendean by 2 goals

Ocean Ridge v Mt Lawley @Heathridge Park

The onion ridge gents are flying so far in season 2021 with a good showing and a good chance here to solidify themselves in the top 5 for finals. Mt Lawley have found themselves outside of the relegation zines for now, but they do face a good battle. A good showing against onion ridge here may kick start the season. Hopefully the rain holds off here, as the 290 metre walk from change rooms to the ground will ensure you’re saturated before play.
Ocean Ridge by 3 goals

Swan Athletic v Kingsley @Swan Athletic Sporting Club

The Swan Ath boys shocked the world last weekend and we know they can build into bigger and better things moving forward. Kingsley though are another club needing to win, as the double drop is usually reserved for Colts kids on a Saturday evening. A massive game, but with The Big Yuk upfront, Swan Ath will win.
Swan Athletic by 3 goals

Ballajura v Wanneroo @Kingfisher Oval

10 v 1 here, but still an important game for both clubs. Ballajura know they are better than what they are showing, and will out to prove that on Saturday against a Wanneroo side, proving upsets are possible, as they have had 6 of them so far this season. It will be a good game, on an oval that is not so good. Wanneroo should manage to get the upset again.
Wanneroo by 3 goals

All the very best to each and everyone one of you.

MrM I reckon that’s one of your more subdued write ups I’ve had the pleasure of reading. Hopefully the shadow lurkers haven’t scared you off and it’s just the relaxing down south vibe you’ve brought back instead.
Onto the weekend, looks the rain will hold off and methinks looking like great day for footy to get things started again.

Bullcreek vs Whitfords
They are in some pretty unfamiliar woods up at McDonald Park. It’s starting to get dire and will look even bleaker after the Creek spine has their way with them. Creek 10 goals

West Coast v Bassendean
The coasters have been my disappointment so far. They looked primed for a big year but for whatever reason it’s just not clicking. Basso got a little complacent and got their reality check before the bye. Was always gonna happen but will be back at it tomorrow. Basso 5 goals

Ocean Ridge v Mt Lawley
The new kids just keep getting it done when they should. No different here, the hawks will struggle up on the paddock. Was working up that way this week and that ground is looking pretty chopped up. Ridge running power will handle it though. Ridge 6 goals

Swan Ath v Kingsley
Hopefully the Ath boys can carry on after their surprise win but wouldn’t be a shock to see them come out flat after it too. Dreadfully important game for both teams in need of more Ws. I can’t really split them, home ground advantage gets the points. Swan Ath 1 goal

Ballajura v Wanneroo
Up and about the roos are. Flag faves now ?? Maybe. The Balla boys have a heap of heart but they won’t be able to go with the Roos. Another Wanneroo upset by 10 goals

Another week of some good games ahead of us today and good luck to everyone.

BC v Whitfords - BC should be too strong here. Traveling along nicely and not sure where Whitfords are at. So BC by 6goals

WC v Bassendean - WC played some good footy last game from what I saw but the high salary club of Basso should win by also 6goals

OR v ML - Played at the big ground and most likely having some players added as WP have a bye should assist OR in being too strong on their home ground. OR by 7goals

SA v Kings - Well done to SA beating Bassendean last game! Probably game of the round and SA to get another win by  a couple of goals.

Ballajura v Wanneroo - Wanneroo to be too good here in what could be a close one in the first half. But Wanneroo are a very good side and cant see them losing or winning by a small margin. Wanneroo by 8goals+
