Well what another wet and wild weekend we have in front of us and MrM could not be happier  Look what a very funny patron just happened to inbox me this week on OZfooty. Thank you very much.

Who knows who upset Fullback – but clearly, he has taken a beating his whole life to be this bitter? Calling a historical landmark, the Circus is actually libelous and I know a certain barrister willing to claim against this nonsense. But we move on – Looking forward to this week  Let’s have a look.

Mt Lawley v West Coast @Hamer Park

This is a big game for both clubs. A win gives West Coast some breathing space in the top 5 with the so called “supercoach” at Mt Lawley needing to work wonder to get his side playing finals. It will be a tough ole slog down at Hamer Park and who knows at home it might just be Mt Lawley winning here, MrM doesn’t see it like that though, especially with Yeo coming back in for the Coasters….
West Coast by 2 goals

Bassendean v Swan Athletic @Jubilee Reserve

A fantastic ground to watch football is Jubilee Reserve, because you can definitely see what is happening form the balcony, should be great in wet weather… Bassendean are playing tremendous football at the moment though and they are looking to go all the way this season, they face a Swan Ath side though that needs a win otherwise are facing a relegation battle. Bassendean at home too good here.
Bassendean by 3 goals

Kingsley v Ballajura @Kingsley Park

Wow what a huge game for both sides, with the loser almost certain to be bottom of the ladder. Kingsley were not too bad last week from all reports (MrM wasn’t there – but the Reserves coach left in disgust at 3qrt time) meanwhile Ballajura will want to get back on the winners list as well. It is a true flip of the coin, but I think at home Kingsley could get it done.
Kingsley by 1 goal

Wanneroo v Bullcreek Leeming @Wanneroo Showgrounds

The home of football is graced with back to back games for Wanneroo and they will be looking to improve on last weeks win. They do face another side who want to fight for that top3 spot though and its sure to be fight for all. Bullcreek as certainly surprising this year and they don’t look like stopping here. I think Wanneroo at home are good enough to get it done. Wanneroo by 2 goals

Whitford v Ocean Ridge @Macdonald Reserve

A local suburbs derby, when would these teams have last met? If they have ever met? Its going to be a big game. Whitford, well they need a win and stat they could be in relegation zone come Saturday night if results go against them. While Onion Ridge know a win and they keep touch with the top 3. Its going to be a slog, but I think Ridge can do it away.
Ocean Ridge by 2 goals

Have fun all.

Some good games this week, and not sure why some heat is coming to fullback. He just comments like us all on here and we all have different opinions. Anyway.

Bassendean V SA - doubt this is a fantastic ground to watch footy on, bring your binos if your watching from the balcony Mr M. Bassendean too good here with their cattle they have managed to get. Bassendean by 5 goals only due to the weather.

Mt Law V WC - should be a close game and the hawks will be competitive. From what the grape vines are saying is the hawks have a few out and are relying on club depth. WC well they have have been up and down. Should be a hard game and WC by 2goals

Kings V Ballajura - Ballajura gave Bassendean a run last week according to the score card. So top team payed a bottom side and won by a few. Good enough for me. Ballajura by a couple of goals

Wanneroo v BCL-  GOTR- Tough to pick. Wanneroo are a class act and deserve to be where they are as they have grown within the club . Wanneroor just, by 1goal

Whitford V OR- Depends if the coach for OR done the ring around to WAFL clubs and got a few. Whitfords to rebound by a goal as well.

Good luck all

Great to see you put time and effort  into your    Mysterious Pre game review but your way off the mark.
I suggest you get amongst it a bit more ..

Thanks for your input Jockstrap always good to have a newcomer along. Even if your name is as ridiculous as the item you portray.

It takes MrM 10-15 mins on his train journey to work to type out this rubbish, a lot of research definitely takes place.
Tipped 4/5 this week - even tipped the Wanneroo and Kingsley upset victory’s.
Perhaps you need to get amongst it more.

Its nice they are constantly checking the page for updates to see who said what. Makes us all feel more relevant :)

Not sure why but it seems the B grade threads have slowed down. Been following the chat over the season, some good and some just plain stupid but I guess that's what makes ozfooty a joy to read.

The Toasters had a big last qtr from all reports and kicked 5 to none. My expectations would be that they are in for a big push to the back end of the season. As for Lawley and there well drilled team with unbelievable coaching (according to Fullback), they continue to find a couple more results to avoid potential relegation. Tbh, they are in most matches so just need to finish them off

Swan Ath beating Basso has really perplexed me. Basso have essentially won all games by about the same margin so probably haven't been convincing but keep getting the chocolates. I just never saw the Ath winning but this should give them some momentum and id expect the Basso train to pick up some steam now.

Ridge has just rolled on from C grade and continues to impress. It's a long season so will be interesting to see if they can continue this form. Whitfords look to be in a lot of trouble. They have copped a percentage battering this season but their reserves are dominating? Maybe time for some boys to help them out of this pickle. Unholytugboat, please get in touch and let us know what's going on as C grade is within touching distance.

Wanneroo shocked again with a convincing enough performance. Rumours out of the Creek are if they kicked straight they could have had a 3 goal lead at the half. If you don't put good teams away, it comes to bite you in the butt, looks like this happened. Think Wanneroo scraped into the finals with an average team last season and have recruited for this season. I'd love fullbacks and Mr M's opinion on this as apparently they aren't that good?

Kingsley gets a massive 4 points against Balla. Balla needs a miracle to escape this season. The comp is even for the bottom 4 so won't rule them out just yet but club depth is an issue. C grade club for mine so thinks it's best if they disappear at the season's end. Kingsley looks to be nowhere after being relegated from A grade. Did lose a player or 2 to wafl which has probably hurt but depth also an issue for them. Big fight ahead to survive with a couple of other clubs

From memory, 5 wins will keep you up so some big fixtures coming soon. Keen to hear back from a few boys so let me know what's going on, please.

Hasta Luego

Went and watched 3quarters of the Lawley game (left to watch WCE - should of stayed). Not quite right about your mail Eastbound, Lawley kicked 1.2 in the last. I must say the WC coach nees to pull his head in a bit. The language he used at quarter time was shocking. He was going off his tree for the entire break and everyone could hear him, not a good experience for any kids around the place. Shocking! If they didnt have their big tall number 10 it could of been a different result, but it wasnt so well done to WC.

A good surprise for SA to beat Bassendean, completely unexpected.

A break this week which players would be looking forward to I suppose.
