Well what an exciting weekend last weekend where we had many a good game of football for all to enjoy. Not sure about Fullback info though after the game last weekend, but that is just what MrM has heard from numerous sources. As for the facilities, MrM has not been to the ground since cricket many seasons ago but given they have not had any upgrade MrM is aware of, I suggest you are off the mail here once more.
MrM did happen to be sent a very interesting video of a player from a team though which shows his TikTok (MrM believes this is the platform) exploits whilst wearing club colours. Now MrM is going to name which club, but lets just say, after witnessing the video in his club colours, MrM believes this is a true violation of the P.F.L social media policy and should be stripped immediately of all points., but they can see for themselves… Cannot wait for this weekend, nice and wet – should be good for all “strong” teams

Bullcreek Leeming v Ocean Ridge @Beasley Park

The battle of two form teams here with neither side wanting to give an inch. Bullcreek have had many impressive performances so far, but the real tests start in the next few weeks for the gents. Ocean Ridge are rolling along now and will want to test themselves against quality opposition here. I think it could be the match of the round and it might just see Bullcreek come out on top. Let’s hope Ocean Ridge have the clash strip ready too, too much of the same colour…
Bullcreek by 2 goals

West Coast v Whitford @City Beach Oval

Both sides need a win here and its no secret both will want to play finals this season. Their form has been indifferent but that doesn’t mean much. West Coast know they will not want to lose touch with the top 5, while Whitford are in the exact same category. The big ground will be tough to play especially with the awful weather pending throughout the day. I think West Coast at home are hard to go past.
West Coast by 3 goals

Swan Athletic v Mt Lawley @Swan Athletic Sporting Club

If I said the previous two sides needed a win, what do both the teams need, they are more than desperate for one. Swan Ath, what is happening, might be time to push the undefeated Colts up into the League side. Where as MT Alwley, they did struggle last season and will know they be back, but they will see this as a winnable game for them. I don’t see it myself though, The Big Yuk to dominate in the wet.
Swan Atheltic by 2 goals

Ballajura v Bassendean @Kingfisher Oval

One club is flying here and the other is really going to work hard to put up a fight here. Ballajura will be up against it here and some say rain is a big leveler, I do not think so, I think in the wet the good teams are still good enough to play their style and get it done.  Bassendean will be flying after last weekend and know they can get it done here and easily too. I think it will not be close.
Bassendean by 5 goals

Wanneroo v Kingsley @Wanneroo Showgrounds

Give no one expected Wanneroo to get close last weekend, it was good to see them put up a decent fight even though they are completely outclassed every week. They are back at home and in a bit of a local rivalry (not quite like a North Beach v Scarborough rivalry – that saw crowd fight form a few weeks ago) but still a rivalry nonetheless, they face Kingsley who are desperate for a win too. Back from A Grade and not performing like they should, It should be a good game and I think it will be quite close but the Roos will bounce back at home.
Wanneroo by 3 goals
Good luck this weekend all.

G'day Lads,

Great round of fixtures and opportunties for this weekend with the following;

1 v 10

2 v 9

3 v 4

5 v 6

7 v 8

Clubs will be looking to prevent damage to their % in the relegation battle whilst at the top creating a buffer for Final Ladder positions.

BALLAJURA V  BASSO

Balla look to be in serious trouble in 2021 as they clearly lack depth and quality talls.

Basso are all Class and easily have 10 ready made quality players in the Reserves who could play League if selected and perform very well.

Basso will use this game to show their ruthless side.

Basso to win by 53 Points.

WEST COAST V WHITFORDS

Both Clubs in a serious form slump and the loser of this game will only be a win above the bottom Team on the ladder.

The Warriors to have any chance of winning need Keunen in the Ruck (for at least 75% of the game), Big Red at CHF and Monaghan at FF.

Coasters I believe will have an edge in class and skill.

Coasters to win by 19 Points.

SWAN ATHLETIC V MOUNT LAWLEY

Ath are struggling this year and when I watched them 2 weeks ago they lacked real confidence.

The Hawks had their first win of the Year last week and their confidence will be sky high.

If the Hawks play according to the Game Plan they will record back to back wins.

Hawks to win by 31 Points.

BULLCREEK V OCEAN RIDGE

This will be a belter.

Two quality Teams locking horns in the fight for the double chance.

Strange set of circumstances as the Creek are back at home and have only played one away game thus far.

Creek do have the best spine in the Grade with elite midfield support.

Ridge play a Team First, skillful and hungry gut running game.

For Ridge this will be a big step-up in class with regards to opposition, however, that will not faze them in the slightest.

This will be a game of attrition where the Coaches will be working overtime with their tactics and positional moves.

Ridge to make an even bigger statement of intent and will win this game.

Ridge to win by 11 Points.

WANNEROO V KINGSLEY

A night game at the circus.

The Far Northern Joeys received a wake-up call last week and will be in body and mind bruised and battered.

Two Big outs (at this stage) for the Joeys in Johnson and Todd.

The Joeys may wish to review having a Player Coach playing the whole game against the Top Teams as last week they were out-coached in tactics with regards to player movements/balance at key stages.

Kingsley are struggling in B Grade and are seriously in contention for the Double Drop.

Joeys to win by 27 Points.

Over and out.

A bit different this weekend with the weather and a different type of football. Some crucial games ahead in another exciting weekend.

Ballajura Vs Bassendean - Bassendean to keep rolling, not much else to say here a part from the final margin around 8goals

West Coast V Whitfords- Seems like no one has an idea on what is going on with the coasters. Surely they will bounce back unless they have lost players??? West Coast by 2 goals

Swan Ath V Lawley - Great to see Lawley have a win last week and play good footy. One thing is they are quite fit and keep going. Should be a good game as Ath appear to be a young side. Agree they probably should look to play some of their undefeated colts to gain the experience. Not sure the big Yukich will be suited to the conditions as Mr M suggests. Lawley by 4goals

Bullcreek V OR - All you can do is keep on winning and that is what OR is doing. They will be tested here though. BC by 6goals

Wanneroo V Kingsley- Wanneroo had the help of some West Perth players being dropped back to them last week, otherwise would it have been much further?? Kinglsey just travelling at the moment so Wanneroo by 5goals

Good luck to the clubs!

Wanneroo v Kingsley
i dunno about a wake up call for Wanneroo probably more confidence knowing they are one of the best teams in the comp.
they will take care of Kingsley if the rains stay away for half a game.

ridge v creek- MOTR
this will be a cracker!! Creek travelling along nicely.
their bigger bodies should hold out a running side in ridge but I think they have an early game (1:30pmish?) rain not expected until after 3 so this could work for ridge.
tip creek at home tho.

Ath v Mt Lawley.
both teams will be aware of how big this game is for their finals/ and or relegation chances.
Ath to get up here

Ballajura v Basso
10 v 1 doesn’t matter in this grade. Balla won’t put up two poor efforts in a row.
basso to get over the line but 3:40pm start it will be pissing down so Balla have a chance to cause an upset.

West Coast v Whitties
coasters to win this one- Whitfords have been average. Back to the drawing board to save their season or relegation pressure could mount
how long since whitties have been lower than B grade?

Results went as expected on the weekend.

Roos with a good return to the winners circle. A big margin and flex of the muscle- could have been more if they kicked straight!

Creek with a solid win against another fancied top 5 side.
been really impressed with Bullcreeks efforts this year- new coach and they have been able to not only consolidate their squad but have one ready for a crack at finishing top 3 and doing some damage. Hats off to Hardingham for this.

Basso another win but a bit closer than expected. Rain played a factor here. Good sides find a way to win though

Lawley 2 wins in a row coinciding with the East Perth byes- this week will see where they are at.
Ath now with some pressure on them in the relegation battle.

West Coast put whitties to the sword.
they looked a different side with Ashby up forward.
Ashby and Bevan are a tough duo to manage and I feel they will make a run back end of the year and hit their straps- add in former wafl product cade lines who can really turn the burners on they have some serious scoring power.
is Devitt still around?

Freo,  from what I hear Lawley havent been getting many players at all from EP. Not sure why they didnt especially since the WAFL had a bye.

Yes, WC looks like they have hit their straps now so they would be a team to look out for from here on in. What about Whitfords? Did they have players out?

Ocean Ridge get a lot of WP players that come back, so may be they didnt have as many this week? If they do get different players form the WAFL each week wouldnt they be better off trying to grow from within the club?

Basso not as big a margin as some thought. But a win is a win. When talking to work collegues and mates who are all footy nuffies all they talk about when Bassendean comes up is player payments. I dont know if that is true but surely clubs dont risk being caught with paying players, maybe I am niave.

Interesting week coming up.

Full Back could i ask what is your or Bassendean AFC  issue with Wanneroo? Is there some history you would like elaborate on or are you going to just continue with your biased, selective and self serving dribble?
