G'day Lads,

Bullcreek V West Coast

Should be a great game.

Creek received a wake-up call last week, however, they know their best is good enough to beat anyone.

Creek's elite midfield and spine will give them the advantage at home.

Creek by 11 Points

Swan Ath V Ocean Ridge

A Must Win game for Ridge to press their claim for finals and to build a buffer.

Ridge as I expected are feeling at home in B Grade and fear nobody.

Ridge will have an edge in speed and skill.

Ridge by 17 Points

Kingsley V Bassendean

Basso keeps marching on and are very impressive.

Basso's gut running Big Midfielders and Classy Forwards will prove the difference with the Little Master up forward to kick 5 goals against his old club.

Basso by 37 Points

Ballajura V Whitfords

A Must win game for the Warriors if they have any hopes to play finals.

The Warriors have an edge in skill and experience.

Warriors to win by 27 Points

Wanneroo V Mount Lawley

After 3 Narrow losses the Hawks will be very hungry to record their first win.

The Hawks have an Elite Coach who is a competitive beast.

If the players play to the Coach's game plan with a fierce hunger they will beat anyone home or away.

My instincts are this will be the week where the Hawks click and record their first win.

Hawks to win at the Circus by 17 Points

With fine weather upon us this week looks like a couple of good games ahead. I will be going to have a look at the premiership favourites (they think they are as well) this week with Bassendean. rumours all over the city that they have smashed their salary caps........ but just rumours I would say

West Coast in a close one 9 points
Onions by 6goals
Bassendean by 10goals
Whitfords by 5goals
Wanneroo (second favourites) by 6goals

Have a ripper of a weekend before this wet weather comes

And happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there!

Short and sweet today, time is limited today.

Whitfords off to a very shaky start for season 21, reckon they will catch a break this weekend though. Ballajura just seem a little too outclassed this year, its a long season though. Whitfords 4 goals

Wanneroo should account for Mt Lawley fairly easily. Roos 10 goals

Kingsley finally got off the mark but now run into the faves. Basso 10 goals

Ridge keep impressing and think they will again and get that buffer as suggested by Fullback. Swan Ath wont be easy at home though. Ocean Ridge 4 goals

Im not sure West Coast are actually as good as i thought they were early. Im gonna go Creek 3 goals.

MrM cannot wait for this weekend, as we are looking at 5 very important games for all. While we might start seeing a gap between top sides and bottoms sides, we await the results to see if this is an indication. As for our dear friend Fullback, MrM would like to share a beverage with you, MrM gets the feeling you share some very unique views on the world and MrM would like to explore these some more, your tipping though leaves a lot to be desired. .  Here is MrM view of the world as we know it.

Bullcreek Leeming v West Coast @Beasley Park
Bullcreek are humming along nicely and I hear the Mr P. Bower is having a profound influence on the game so far this season. West Coast are a side everything is tipping big things from and MrM is sure they can deliver. I think they will get the job done here minus the litany of inquiries to, Yeo, Shuey McGovern…
West Coast by 2 goals

Swan Athletic v Ocean Ridge @Swan Athletic Sporting Club
Firstly, whatever happened to Fawell Park? Secondly can Swan Ath make finals this season? They will need to win games like this to be any chance, whereas everyone is riding the Ocean Ridge train so far this season. I can see the Big Yuk putting a holt to it on Saturday.
Swan Ath by 2 goals

Kingsley v Bassendean @Kingsley ParkIt has been a tough year for the Kingsley gents, and it gets a lot tougher as they face a strong opposition here as a former son comes back to play. Bassendean will be fired up and I think the Kingsley crowd will be fired up as well. I can see this be closer than most think, But Bassendean, too strong and too good.
Bassendean by 4 goals

Wanneroo v Mt Lawley @Wanneroo Showgrounds
Wanneroo, gee they are definitely exceeding MrM’s expectations and other I believe, how are they managint o scrape by every week MrM will never know. They face a Mt Lawley team who claimed the spoon last season but survived. Unfortunately for Mt Lawley without the Brothers of Destrcution. I cannot see them beating Wanneroo here.
Wanneroo by 5 goals

Ballajura v Whitfords @Kingfisher Oval This is a big game for both clubs and both desperately need a win. Ballajura will want to start winning games soon as entering the relegation battle is never a good time. As for Whitfords, well rebounding after last week’s efforts is well needed for all involved as MrM is hearing speculation of player discontent through the ranks...Whitfords should win here.
Whitfords by 3 goals

Have fun in the sun all, MrM will.

A couple more games and we will have a real look at who are the real deal! I still think
it is early days. Basso getting the job done but nothing to write home about.
Wanneroo to be the form side IMO- their wins much more formidable, with last weekend very very good!!
At this level no one is a shoe in and surely you blokes calling out favourites at this stage are just trying to put pressure on these top teams.

Creek Vs West Coast
This potentially shapes as a big one as we really see if either of these teams are going to give it a red hot crack back end of the year.
This will be Creeks 4th home game of the year and may be attributed to their strong start??
This will be a great battle!!
I will tip West Coast by 2goals.

Swan Ath vs Ocean Ridge
the time is now for Ath to step up.
They have some quality young kids and play with confidence. if they can kick the first 2 goals they win the game.
Ath by 3 goals

Kingsley v Basso
got the job done last week over cellar dwellers Lawley but this will be a little tougher. I would assume they will make things very difficult for Delby.
this extra drive to potentially stick it up him may get them over the line.
I will take this upset.

Wanneroo vs Mt Lawley
wanneroo at home are a 5 goal better side and that isn’t good news for Lawley.
this so called elite coach is all that is talked about on here- anyone would think he is Kevin Sheedy- if he is that good they don’t get done by 5goals this week.
footy is about the players not the coach.
roos by 7goals

Balla v Whitfords
Balla are better at home and still
play a good brand of footy but just lacking one or 2 players with a bit more polish.
Whitfords two average games in a row and need a response- if they don’t respond this week their season is over.
whitties by 5 goals

G'day Lads,

Watched the Swan Ath v Ridge game.

Always a great venue at Ath especially when the weather is fine.

Ridge cut through Ath early and put the game beyond doubt by 3 quarter time.

Ridge would be slightly disapointed that they didn't gain further % in the last quarter as they appeared to put the cue in the rack.

Nevertheless a great win away from home which will only boost their confidence.

There is now a decent buffer between them and other Teams aspiring to play Finals.

Great effort from the promoted C1 Premiers as historically there is a Big difference in quality between B and C Grade League.

Any other game reports from the B Grade round?

Over and out

A few tighter than expected results and a couple of “upsets” (Balla) and catching the eye performances (ridge)

the comp is poised to have a great finish.

Balla proving most wrong including me! Hats off to them and their win on the weekend- does it keep them in the hunt or show that Whitties are well off it this year?
do whitties have a new coach?

Basso another non convincing win over kingsley

creek over the coasters a good result for creek and leaving coasters with an even record

ridge a very good result away from home! Ath are no easy beats at home.

Wanneroo as I said pre round the form team in the comp belting Lawley

The scrapping of round 3 could potentially prove costly for a few sides.
basso missing out on a potential % boost

ridge missing an opportunity against Roos to see where they are really at

Kingsley/whitties the chance to notch an extra win

G'day Freofortheflag,

Mate I totally agree with your thoughts.

Balla also proved me wrong. Well done to them on their first win of the season.

That loss for the Warriors will no doubt hurt and very much risks their finals ambitions.

They are a Big and Proud Club with time to rebound and may reload as some Clubs do before the player transfer deadline.

You have made an excellent observation regarding the potential repercussions of Round 3 not being played.

Complex situation for all parties concerned and lets hope that we will have the remaining rounds being played in full.

We have a ripper round this weekend.

B Grade is exciting and great to follow.

Over and out.

Year on year, consistent anti Bassendean tripe from freofortheflag. Looking forward to reading his review for the upcoming round. I get plenty of enjoyment out of watching the form team of the comp make him eat his words week in and week out
