Off with the masks and back into it. Not too hot tomorrow so there should be less carry on at the water boys and girls. Good even weekend of footy coming up.

Bullcreek v Bassendean
Surprise week off for the creek will help the sore bodies they had rolling around and ive got a sniff they are ready to go this weekend against one of the comp faves who might get shell shocked early. Basso will come hard no doubt but i reckon the creek spine will hold up to it. Creek 2 goals.

Mt Lawley v Kingsley
Someone is getting off the mark here. Heaps of positivity coming out of the hawks camp and something seems a miss at the cattery. Thats enough for me to go with the hawks. Mt Lawley 3 goals

Ocean Ridge v Ballajura
Still cant fault the new kids on the block. Ballajura havent been far that far off but still dont feel like they are anywhere near their best. They will likely struggle to contain the kids speed out on the open plains of Heathridge. Ridge 6 goals.

Whitfords v Wanneroo
This is a pretty big game for both i reckon. Wanneroo will be desperate to keep their momentum rolling and the warriors will want to take down someone ahead of them to remind everyone they are still around. Home side to get up and about for it. Whitfords 2 goals

West Coast v Swan Ath
This should be the easiest tip of the round. West Coast will want to get back in the circle pretty quickly and should do it comfortably. West Coast 8 goals

The week off could add a spanner in the works for a few teams but the big question will be- what will the PFL decision/clubs decision be.
If games are abandoned who would is potentially hard done by by missing out on playing a lower ability team. I for one hope it doesn’t have an impact on the ladder come years end.

Creek v Basso
both these teams joined us in Bs last year and both appear to fit in!
both undefeated so MOTR
will go with creek at home by a kick

Mt Lawley v Kingsley
loser of this match potentially staring down the barrel of relegation. MT Lawley should have been relegated last year by were saved by PFL.
maybe they should have went back and regrouped.
kingsley by 3 goals

ridge v balla
two good running sides and Balla with back against the ropes.
ridge not out of place. Are Balla cooked?
ridge only cos they are at home by 3 goals

whitties v wanneroo
Age/experience v youth and enthusiasm.
it will be a battle of who handles the pressure better.
whitties by 2 goals

west coast v ath
west coast to bounce back with more team chemistry to get the W against a young Ath.
mid Ath lead at half time I will
take them to win it. Coasters up at half time they win

Slow week this week.
MrM's tips would have been

Bassendean
Mt Lawley
Onion Ridge
Wanneroo
West Coast

Not sure how Wanneroo won on the weekend, as MrM was plying his trade elsewhere...
However good to see they caused another unexpected boilover.

Watched Mt Lawley on Sat with my artistic mask on. Lawley started well then turned the ball over a bit more than the team would of liked. Kingsley then took advantage of the mistakes. Lawley have a good forward who kicked a few and a fellow that wears a helmet just kept having a go. Kingsley looked a little better for the last half but could of gone either way. I would imagine Lawley would think that is one that got away from them. They looked down when coming off after that loss. A big ask this weekend as well. A bad umpiring mistake saw the Lawley Capt being seriously pushed into the fence by Kingsley and no rough conduct report or even a 50...... The team look quite young compared to Kingsley and hoping its not a looong year for the club after last year finishing bottom.

G'day Lads,

Thanks to OldSkoolwayz and FreofortheFlag for keeping B Grade on show with their thoughts and tips (I couldn't due to other commitments).

Also thanks to WCE1987 for his detailed game analysis of the Hawks v Kingsley.

I did manage to watch the second half of West Coast v Swan Ath.

West Coast don't appear to be as strong as last year (with all due respect) and not as quick or efficient in the guts which allowed Swan Ath to stay in the game.

West Coast are a Big Club and they will no doubt reload before 30 June recruiting deadline.

Solid wins to Basso, Ridge and Kingsley.

The Hawks are getting closer to their first win and no doubt in time will fully execute the Coach's game plan which will result in wins.

Over and out.

Fullback
