G'day Lads,

Bassendean v Mount Lawley

Basso recorded a very impressive away win against the Warriors whilst the Hawks lost away by 2 goals to an injury hit Creek.

Basso hits for the 3rd straight week the maximum 43 player points allocation and after last weeks win put the Grade on Notice that they mean Business.

The Hawks with their Master Coach will push Basso, however, Basso's Big Mids who gut run both ends of the ground will prove the difference.

Basso to win by 31 Points.

Ballajura v West Coast

Balla lost away last week to Swan Ath by 3 Goals whilst West Coast lost a close one to the Roos by less than a straight kick.

You would have to search the record books for when West Coast previously lost League, Ressies and Colts at home. I suspect it hasn't happened for a very long time.

I wouldn't like to be playing West Coast this week and poor old Balla will no doubt be up against a
hungry and determined West Coast.

West Coast to win by 61 Points.

Wanneroo v Ocean Ridge

The Roos recorded a very impressive win away against West Coast and Ridge had a very solid win at home against Kingsley to celebrate a former League Captain's milestone game in style.

Ridge are a classy hardworking Team who belong in B Grade.

Number 16 for Ridge is a Class Act ( forward line) who can win a game off his own boot.

The Roos made a Big Statement of intent by beating the Pre Season Flag favourite which simply can't be ignored.

Ridge will test the Roos, however, the Roos's confidence is sky high and why not after last week's heroics.

Roos to win by 21 Points

Swan Athletic v Bullcreek

Swan Athletic won last week at home by 3 Goals over Balla whilst Creek had a 2 Goal win over the Hawks at home even though they were hit by many injuries.

I said this before and I will say it again the Creek have a great spine and midfield.

Class Team on the rise with form and confidence on their side.

Creek to win by 37 Points

Kingsley v Whitfords

Kingsley lost last weekend away to Ridge whilst the Warriors lost at home to Basso.

Whitfords needs to play the Big Number 20 in the Ruck where he excels ( possibly the best Ruckman in the Grade).

Not sure if he's carrying an injury but he spent 90% of last week on the Half Forward line whilst the Warriors got smashed in the guts.

That said it look likes Kingsley are in for a long season in rebuild mode.

The Warriors to rebound and win by 27 Points.

Over and out.

Good luck to all teams on the weekend in what is a big day in ANZAC day.
West Coast to bounce back hard against Ballajura , by 10goals.
Wanneroo seem to be very strong so a win by 8goals here
Whitfords to get over Kingsley who should improve. Whitfords by 5goals.
Bassendean to give a young Hawks side a loss. Bassendean by 8goals
Bullcreek to touch up Swan Ath by 6goals

looks like some one sided games this week.

Any news on if Kingsley have lost any players this year? Also has Ballajura still got their BnF from last year playing?

Another hot day for footy coming up. Water boys and girls will need to be on their toes.
I'm slowly whittling down my contenders list already and pulling down my ''open grade'' sign, hopefully MrM will appreciate that.
2 sadly I don't think can win it, the other 8 will push for the 5 and of that I think there's 4 that definately can dare to dream.

Bassendean v Mt Lawley
I cant see any chinks in the armour yet out at Jubilee for the Hawks to exploit. They run too hard and have too much class all over the ground. Basso 10 goals.

Swan Ath v Bullcreek
Few sore bodies at the Creek and if Aths forward line can find the footy enough they could pinch it. But ill stay safe. Creek 3 goals.

Wanneroo v Ocean Ridge
I for one absolutely did not see the Roos winning last week. happy to eat humble pie. Question now is can they back that performance up. Should be an easy kill against the new kids on the block but these kids at Ridge seem to be onto something possibly. I will go with the Roos by 3 goals but not with any confidence to be honest.

Ballajura v West Coast
The Ball boys are going to be up against it here. Coast will be fuming and will likely come out spitting venom. Could get ugly.
West Coast 10 goals.

Kingsley v Whitfords
Just doesn't seem to be clicking yet at Kingsley. But a night game with a big home crowd against a Warriors team also doesn't seem to have found its feet just yet might just be the catalyst to get their season underway. Kingsley 3 goals

After an exciting week last week where MrM tipped 5/5 and then also a wonderful 9/9 in the AFL, who knows what is going to happen here. but if you see MrM’s tips follow him and you should be fine.  It is good to have Fullback here again as this particular gent offers absolutely the purest of bull excrement you would ever read, so it is always to have you hear. What upset are you talking about last week? None MrM knows.  As for OldSkoolWayz… it’s a funny name, and sadly I feel for you indulging in humble pie, but MrM knows that you can do better. Be better.  This week we have 5 great games and which they will go who knows, but we shall see, lets jump in.

Bassendean v Mt Lawley @Jubilee Reserve

Bassendean is without a doubt the form team in the competition and will be looking to continue that form over. They do also play at one of the worst grounds in history of grounds, but that’s just MrM opinion. As for Mt Lawley without the brothers of destruction, new stables are forming and its apparent they are the force they have been. Bassendean will win in a canter. Bassendean by 6 goals

Swan Athletic v Bullcreek Leeming @Swan Athletic Sporting Club

Swan Ath managed to get things going last week and who knows they may be able to do it all again this week, with 2 games at home in a row, what a lucky club and with the BigYuk a year older and stronger. Bullcreek to be on fire early, will they be able to sustain throughout the season, we shall see. I am going with the hometown boys here.
Swan Athletic by 3 goals

Wanneroo v Ocean Ridge @Wanneroo Showgrounds

Wanneroo managed to get the job done last weekend, siren gate and all but a local derby is always another big chance to impress. Whereas onion ridge managed to beat Kingsley last week and by all reports are a young hungry side. I think at home Wanneroo can get it done.
Wanneroo by 4 goals

Ballajura v West Coast @Kingfisher Oval

Everyone is tipping a huge blowout here, but I am not sure I think Ballajura can still be a side to get things done in 2021 and it might start this weekend against a spirited West Cast side. West Coast are smarting after last weeks loss and on the road, they may not want to drop another one. It will be closer than most think I think Ballajura will just fall short.
West Coast by 3 goals

Kingsley v Whitfords @Kingsley Park

This is a huge game for both sides, with neither side wanting to give an inch and I can see perhaps and old fashioned scrap here. Kingsley haven’t started like they would have wanted, but then again Whitfords will want a win too or they fall behind the even ledger. It could be a flip of the coin, and can Kingsley kick start their season now…I think so.
Kingsley by 2 goals

If you follow MrM’s tipping form you will probably see I get 0/5 this week because that’s the way things normally work.

Hopefully the water boys and girls take this opportunity to have a good rest this weekend and I can find a spare minute to finish off my last piece of humble pie in amongst the house chores list the mrs will now create out of thin air.

I can’t see the league squeezing these
missed games in anywhere down the line, there just isn’t enough weeks in the year. Prob a split points decision coming up methinks.
