Gosh we have some chatty people on this chat.........sometimes. All Frank wants is some details on games played and every bastard goes quiet, real mature you keyboard warriors. Some big games lined up this week, with some teams also hitting the halfway point for the season. It's gonna be exciting so lets dive into it.

Bullcreek v West Coast- The Creekers have had 2 bad weeks and I see this week being no better, even with 43 points on the ground (integrity unit please check the books). West Coast will be feeling good after a week off and will be eager to show why they are the favourites for promotion even after losing to Shitfords. Freddie and the Boys by 6 Goals

Basso v Balla- This is my MOTR as this will show where both teams are sitting. Basso wont wanna lose 2 on the trot and Balla, well they can prove to the comp that they are another darkhorse in a push for the promise land. Neither team will wont 2 losses to their name after this game, saucyyyyyyyy. Basso 7 points

Swan Ath v Mt lawley- Now can anyone clarify if this competition has relegation or not because I have heard different stories but either way, the loser of this game will be short priced odds for the spoon. Swan Ath were a surprise last week but was that a one off? Mt Lawley have literally been beaten up in 3 games of football so far and really need a win here to build some confidence. I'm gonna tip an upset here, Hawks to do a sneaky with the Ath sleeping on last weeks result. 17 points Hawkers

Wanneroo v Wembley- Trying to work out if Wanneroo are actually any good. Just lose to Basso, just beat the Ath, but pump the Hawks. Wembley just doing Wembley things which is winning if anyone didn't know what that was. Later time-slot in front of the ferals down at Wanneroo could be interesting. Battle of the Big V goes to Wembley by 4 goals.

Love to hear some thoughts for this weeks games but also come Monday I want to hear about clean, beautiful, succulent B grade Football. Keep it clean ya mugs.

Love your work FTT.

Creek V West Coast.

Creek playing some good footy up until quarter time last week and then were nowhere to be seen. Just lucky the boys from the fishbowl couldn’t kick straight. West Coast ticking over nicely and will walk away with a 8 goal comfortably win.

Basso V Balla

Not much love for the balla boys on the B grade threads to date. I think they will prove to the comp they’re the real deal with a win over basso on their turf this week.

Swan Ath V Mt Lawley

Ath with a tough draw to date I wouldn’t look to hard into their results, Lawley pretty much running on rations I’m tipping a 10 goal result Swan Aths way this weekend.

Wanneroo V Wembley

Don’t know a lot about these two but it shapes up to be a great contest. Leaning the way of Wembley here in a ripper MOTR contest.

Cheers and beers

Good Frank to kick it off again!

Almost at the halfway point for all clubs and I would interested to know if clubs are now starting to get players back or if players are dropping off?
Would also really like to know if there is promotion or relegation- if not the coasters might stop paying Freddie and save that $ for next year.

Tips:
West Coast v Creek
I think the coasters will have the fitness and running power to get over the top here. Creek do play a pretty structured brand of footy at times but just not for the full 88mins of footy

Basso v Balla
This will be a good battle of the midfield! Balla coming off an ALMOST big win over creek. They will wana get it through the big sticks today if they are to get the win. Basso been pretty successful the last 4 years so the loss last week may switch them back in.
Basso by 3 goals

Ath v Lawley
Lawley no where near it and funnily enough Ath were calling for the promotion and relegation to be scrapped before last weeks win with an email from their president trying to drum up support from other PFL presidents. Ath by 6goals and their president to recap his email to PFL presidents.

Wembley v Wanneroo
Could be a good game this one- Wanneroo starting to get some rhythm under new coach. Wembley playing the two C grade sides so are they actually any good? Will see today- $tan Wright to kick a couple and give Wembley the nod 3goals

Righto spanners, lets dive into the weekends results. Another beauty of a weekend weather wise and the results keep coming in.

Freddie and the boys do the job over Creek. All over at HT with Creek only having the 1 snag to the board. Couple of bad weeks for the boys south and might be finding B grade a little harder than expected. The Coasters doing whats expected by the looks and bounce back from the bye.

Basso keep that winning vibe going doing Balla easily. Bit of a surprise this one but id imagine going to Jubilee wont be easy this season. Balla will be disappointed with that and maybe prove they are in the middle of the pack with a few other teams. Big game this weekend coming.

Swan do the dirty over the Hawks. If Swan had kicked straight they probably win this game by 12 goals but instead kept the desperate hawks in it. Bitter ticker shown from the boys from Beaufort St as nothing has gone there way this season. Probably spewing they didn't steal it but nonetheless, Swan move to 2 and 2 (Yikessss)

The Stan Wright show rolls on as the Wombles teal one late over the Roos. Some said match of the round and it looked that way. Wanneroo have dropped 2 real close ones at home and continue to maybe be the surprise but at the same time, are sitting the middle of the pack. As for the Wombles, well, as I've said, they just continue to win and as long as Stan is fit, they will be in every game with that leg.

Drop a line if you have some results news, all i know is that Tim Gossage, was very active on twitter Saturday evening. Updates you filthy humans pleaseeee?

Wanneroo v Wembley was an entertaining game. Wanneroo getting the early jump kicking 3 goals, only to be pegged back with a late major to make it a 2 goal lead at quarter time. It was a tight 2nd quarter With both sides getting their share of opportunities, neither side able to break away. Wembley ruck was winning the taps but the Wanneroo onballers were still able to get first touch at ground level. A minor half time push and shove ensued showing both sides were engaged in the contest.

The 3rd quarter was a dour affair with both sides committing errors in an effort to not win the game. The fourth quarter was a classic. Wembley getting early goals to level the game, wanneroo kicking the next 3 to get 21 points in front only to be reeled in again. With the Wembley mids now taking advantage of their ruckman work they coming home strong kicking the last 2 majors to grab the win.

Highlight being the small Wembley CHF who on the lead scooped up The ground ball while being tackled to hand ball to Stan Wright giving him the room to kick the 60 meter plus goal. The Wanneroo player with the beard was in my opinion their best, things always happened when he was involved. Good game to watch.

On a side note, Wanneroo Canteen burger with the lot was sensational, almost makes me want to make a side trip there again this week. Best $7 I’ve spent in a while.

Results went as most expected.

A real fight for relegation at the moment with Bullcreek and Mt Lawley the likely candidates. Be unfortunate for Creek to come up and straight back down but likewise the hawks who have forged a solid stint in the upper grades.

Tough to pick a top 4 at this stage
Wembley, Basso, West Coast, Whitfords, Wanneroo and Swan Ath a chance.

Basso will see where they really stand the next two weeks with games against West Coast and Whitfords- won one of those and the C graders could come up to B grade and play finals.

Wembley- been challenged in a number of games but found a way to win as good sides do. They don’t play West Coast til late in the year so can build momentum before then.

Whitfords/West Coast 2-1 would still be happy with that return at this stage!

Injuries plaguing Ballajura at the moment unfortunately in a sign of the delicate times of a shortened season.

Ath very young but have some older cool calm heads around- they very much play a defensive game and restrict opposition scoring against them.

Wanneroo are my smokey- have some good clearances across to them this year but not sure if they have played every week.

Lando, welcome to Frank's Show. Cant wait to hear more from you each week regarding the Wombles results and how teams are playing against them.

FFTF- Thanks for stealing Franks thunder but will never complain when it comes to people that speak up.

Would love to hear some thoughts on numbers. Not my lotto numbers, more the numbers of wins to avoid relegation, wins to take a top 4 spot and wins to finish top. Give me some feedback boys.

Also why do we not have an answer on the relegation question. My opinion is to leave it be as the comp still looks rather even, but would I know, I just sit behind a keyboard. Yeeehaaaa

"B" grade does look pretty even with the exception of Mt Lawley but my sources tell me they are decimated with injury and when they get some players back may cause some damage at the back end of the season?I agree with FTT forget the relegation this yr with one team short in B leave it as it is and just promote one side from C grade down to even the grades again.
PS FFTF you mentioned Wanneroo as the Smokey on the back of some good clearances? I had a quick look at the points from the last 3 games and they have had 24,26,26 which suggests mostly home grown players? Have they got some more coming?
