Looks like the Aussies are home here.India need 75 off 30 balls. But you never know.Been a real solid performance. Great fields set by Finchy. And a big day for the West Aussies.Stoinis,Marsh,Berendorf,Richardson.
With the ODI World Cup a few months away.India are kidding themselves. If they think they can win the world cup with that long tail.

Stoinis was pretty unlucky I thought, could have had a couple or three. One thing for sure, Siddle needs to go home and concentrate on playing cricket with his grandkids. What were they thinking? Playing an old man knowing full well he won’t be a part of the World Cup team? Some of the young upcoming and aspiring kids must be scratching their heads.

Happy to say I was wrong. That was an excellent effort by both the batting and bowling group. The batting was built on some good partnerships which allowed Stoinis and Maxwell to have a swing at the end. Shaun Marsh is a totally different player in 1 day cricket to how he plays in tests. Then having India 3 for 4 was a fantastic start and they were always chasing the game after that. Richardson should be in the squad for the world cup as well as the Ashes.

gtrx Pandya will come back into that team when his suspension finishes so he will bat at 7 and they won't have such a long tail.

Mike Lehmann was talking on the radio. He thinks Aust are experimental sides atm.He recons Lynn and Short are certainties for England WC.Small grounds and bit hitters. So your Big Bash theory might be on the cards there.

Considering India were 3/4, they did well to get so close....can't see them being 3/4 again....whilst a good morale boosting win, Aust too slow thru the 30s..great to see JB and Jhye taking their opportunity with positive results.....

He may well be right about them coming in and his theory is certainly right, the World Cup in England will be a stage for the bigger hitters who can clear the ropes on smaller grounds.

Handscomb prove his style of play isn't quite as bad as it looks with a good knock..Richardson was huge.

Considering the likes of Turner, Lynn and Short are scoring plenty of runs right now on a regular basis, how many more chances does Finch get.....the fella can't even buy a run at presenting?....since being appointed ODI and T20 skipper and since the Paki tests Finch has done fark all through all international formats bar a 50....runs are currency in any format JL said when he took over....not sure what time frame he was back dating to........12 -18 months ago perhaps?...nice fella Finchy....but really struggling at present

Freezin - dont forget your mate Warney wants Finch as the test captain so you better check with him as to whether he is allowed to be dropped.
