Ok we’ve known for some time Rory Lobb wants to leave but how is it last year he wanted to go back to GWS, now he wants to go to the Western Bulldogs?

Blake Acres cemented his spot this year and was an integral part of Fremantle having a great season.

Griffin Logue has largely underdelivered as a pick 8 largely due to injury so in my mind he owes Fremantle big time.

Darcy Tucker I can understand as he has always been a fringe player and I believe his partner is from Melbourne.

Lloyd Meek? With Lobb looking like he’s out the door we can’t afford to let Lloyd Meek go even if we nab Luke Jackson.

Liam Henry? Not sure he wants to leave but I’d be happy to let him go for a third rounder.

We are a team on the rise so I can’t work out some of these guys wanting to leave.
Get on your bike.

I think Freo slightly overachieved this year. Having said that, they are at a point where their players could rightly look forward to going deeper next season.  So yeh, why do many want out?

Was just reading TradeGuru. In the COVID years of 2020 and 21.There was 24 and 26 trades done.
Down on the usual  35 odd transfers a year. There prediction is for over 50 players to change clubs this trade period.Making up for the last two years
.Maby these Freo boys have wanted out for a few seasons now.And post COVID managers have more power in negotiations.

Not hard to understand why Meek, Tucker and Henry want to leave as the opportunities aren’t there for them at Fremantle. Acres and Louge have been regulars this year but in and out the previous 2 years and Lobb seemed like he was leaving as soon as he arrived.
Louge wants to be a key defender and will get that at North and Tucker would be in north’s best 22 so what gets that deal done? North have pick 1 and 55.
Acres to Carlton is the report, what’s he worth? Carlton have picks 10, 28, 62, 64.
Lobb - how bad do the Bulldogs want him, they have picks 11, 29, 37, 65.

Could Fremantle send Henry to the Gold Coast and get Sharp and or Corbett. Sharp would covers acres and Corbett could off set Louge ( as the 3rd tall forward)

The common  denominator is that Acres, Lobb and Logue all have the same Mercenary Manager in Colin Young. Surprisingly Justin Longmuir's Manager is also Colin Young so a significant conflict of interest there. You would think Justin would be entertaining a change in Manager.

Take on Jack Bowes for 2 years and pick 7 would go along way to helping each WA team in landing Jackson

Looks like its one step forward for the floppers and three backwards, big losses - expect them to slip back to the pack next year.

Surely louge is worth more than a future second round pick. 24 years old, has played on and beaten Jeremy Cameron, Franklin.

Fremantle need that pick 7 from Gold Coast if they want  to land Jackson. Not sure how they get it done without it unless its this years and next years first round picks but they are 13 and similar next year

I fail to see the problem with Fremantle trying players go who were not in the slot to play over a long period.
The only one I am disappointed in is Logue, but I understand his position.
Tuckers days were done.
Meek was always going to be an accessory that was trade bait. Only a full in for if Darcy is injured.
Lobb, good riddance. A selfish self serving player.
We have improved our list overall. We have recruited better than what we lost.

Yes agree with all that Anchorman. Particularly Lobb who instead of just going quietly, decided to have a pot shot at the club when he rocked up for day 1 of Bulldogs training.
I was a bit disappointed that Acres left as well, I thought he contributed a lot least season but I suppose it opens up opportunity for others.
