Preliminary final weekend

Richmond V Collingwood
This game will be a lot closer than most expect. Richmond are not travelling quite as well as this time last year with Dusty under a bit of an injury cloud. The Magpies have an excellent midfield which is capable of competing with the Tigers. I think Richmond will win by 3 or 4 goals in the end.

West Coast V Melbourne
Kennedy is a big inclusion from the last time these two teams met. Darling also played virtually no part in the last game. The Eagles won't let the Dee's get away to a 26 - 0 lead as they did last time. Melbourne will make it a decent contest with Gawn dominating the big man contests but I think West Coast will wear them down eventually roared on by their 50000 fans.

Been very quiet buildup to such a big game. Reports are that the Melbourne press is going bonkers over their local heroes. I heard that one of the papers (the Herald Robbo?) had three of this week’s team photos on the front page. Guess which 3. And they call it the A F L? Obviously Victoria still consider it to be .”their” comp.
Oh well, hopefully the Eagles pull this one of so the vics can have some Victorian Whine!

It’s a prelim so it’s going to be a tough contest.
HopefullyJK has blown out those match day cobwebs,reckon him and Darling will have to contribute 6 or 7 between them plus there usual goal assists will need to be up there.

Melbourne certainly have the stronger midfield,Shuey can’t afford a quiet game like in the QF against the Pies hopefully now that his missus has had the baby his mind will be 100 percent on the game,Masten also has to be on song.
Tough call on who wins but I have faith that the Eagles will get the job done,just.

Hope you’re right 30 pyd. To be honest, if it was the dockers in our position, I would be hoping they would beat any Victorian team they played. I’ve got a couple of Victorian acquaintances and honestly, they are arrogant twats!

I put my head into their rooms after they had finished training to wish them all the best.I had stuff thrown at me water thrown at me, told to fck off back to Fremantle. Copped a fair mouth full.Since that day , I would spit on them if they were on fire.And they copped a pretty fair wahck from Essendon in that game.

For starters he’s working for a caterer so you’d imagine he’d have there uniform on yet they tell him to fck off to Freo,how on earth would they know he was from Freo???
