Friday night Geelong almost destroyed the myth of Richmond being unbeatable at the MCG.Menagola and Joel Selwood where supurb.Gary Ablett had a shocker.
Brisbane and the Roos played a Gabba shoot out.Roos almost got run down in the Gabba heat with a young player making an error in the last minute.
Essendon + Hawthorne. The game had massive momentum swings .Another classic by these two teams.
Showdown 45..Both teams where 22/22 .Port had there nose in front all day but a controversial goal awarded to Josh Jenkins gave the Crows the lead late in the last qtr.
Sydney v Pies Both sides had good leads and where challenged. Great match.
Gws want a big win v Carlton.Top 4 with Ports loss.
Melbourne look to pump Gold Coast with top 4 chance up for grabs.
Western Derby..Eagles with some bigouts .And very average down in Tassie..Freo have to win this in another great round 18 clash.For there coach.This is a long rebuild for Freo wnning only 31% of there last 61 games..Time for the young players to shine.

Our game is indigenous and like no other.Bits of Rugby around clearances. Only game remotely close is Gaelic Football.Probably why the Irish are so good at Afl.We shouldn't change our game to be similar tl any other game.
Just think of this 20 year Golden Era of Afl footy with massive TV rights.Huge crowds.Just think that era is ending and the people who run this game have made a mess of things.Not just the Wafc making a mess of things.
