Looks like a good round of fixtures coming up in the AFL with the promise of a number of competitive matches

It all starts tonight with Sydney V Geelong at the SCG. The Cats will likely drop out of the top 8 if they lose. Sydney have lost a few key players but I think they will prevail mainly due to their home ground advantage

Friday night sees Richmond play the Crows . The Tigers should win this comfortably but they should not underestimate Adelaide who will be motivated by their GF loss last year and they now are getting some of their key players back.

On Saturday we have the Lions v Carlton for the number 1 draft pick. After seeing Brisbane last week I reckon they will be too strong at the Gabba.

Power should beat the Saints although I think that St Kilda will be a danger team for the rest of the season to finals contenders, just ask Melbourne.

The Doggies also pose a threat to the Hawks They played very well against the Cats last week and really threw away the previous game to North Melbourne. I think the Hawks will do enough to win.

I am tipping a Freo win in Darwin against the Demons. Melbourne were really struggling to keep up with St Kilda last week and the Dockers need to follow the blueprint of trying to outrun them. Brad Hills return will help with this.

North will flog Gold Coast to keep in the hunt for finals.

There is an intriguing clash on sunday afternoon between two in form teams in Essendon and Collingwood.
I think the Magpies might be due for a loss.

Finally West Coast and GWS is also a difficult one to pick. I was going to tip GWS becuase of the lack of first choice forwards for the Eagles but I have heard today that Jon Patten unfortunately ruptured his ACL at training so that has swayed me to change my tip to WCE on their home turf.

Pretty good summation mike. Couple of games here that may strengthen the talk of a Tigers Swans GF.
