I think West Coasts forward defencive pressure will go a long way to deciding the outcome assuming they get enough first use of the ball. Get the forward pressure right and I think the Eagles win pretty comfortably. Cripps, LeCras, Rioli and the taller forwards need to lay tackle after tackle.

The other key to beating the Tigers is to control the tempo of the game. At times you need to slow it down and spread the Tigers. Kick to mark ratio needs to increase to achieve this. Most sides fall in to the trap of hand balling too much against the Tigers pace and pressure and end up turning it over and get caught out the back as the Tigers forwards run hard back to their goals extremely quickly.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out.
