They don't need any evidence do they. The matter was of a non disclosure agreement by all parties. End of story. Let the media guess all they want and you if you like.

Re: his job is safe was merely in answer to The Hagdorns etc saying he was going to be sacked by 9am last Friday and the team was unhappy with him etc etc. All of which didn't happen. Till there is some proof of the allegations there is nothing that Freo or Lyon have to answer. Its a non event at the moment.

Proof of the allegations ?
A payment was made - confirmed
A senior Dockers official was involved - confirmed
Ross Lyon randomly appears at a press conference that you think was nothing to do with him ?
Weird place to be if you had no involvement, wouldn’t they have just left it the the CEO and the chairman ?

Haven't seen anything confirmed, haven't seen the Video. No proof of anything as yet.

the media has got what they wanted, someone who knows the story leaked the information to the media and all of a sudden the Fremantle coach is named in the press.
Fremantle are not able to deny the involvement of Lyon due to the settlement so win to the media as the mud will stick.

The mud is in the eye of the beholder. Lyon is in good spirits as are the players. I'm sure the media are working frantically in the background to uncover some concrete evidence because they are looking pretty silly at the moment as everything they have put up eg Video evidence, hasn't materialised. Media, to this point have lost.
