Sd let's call it for what it is: the Victorian Football League legends. Quite simply it is farcical and beyond delusional (dare one say Trumpesque) to think it is anything but the VFL.

The following WA Football Legends are not currently in the supposed Australian Football Hall Of Fames-
Bernie Naylor
Mel Whinnen
George Staunch Owens
Derek Chadwick
Gary Buckenara
Robert Wiley
Les McClements
...and many more Champions from the pre1987 WAFL.

Last night Simon Goodwin, Barry Hall , Anthony Stevens and unbelievably an umpire were inducted they were good players but hardly great.

Malcolm Blight was a very worthy recipient of Legend Status.

Well its heavily biased towards to Victoria. Noteworthy exclusions to date who should be future inductees - Gary Buckenara, Peter Bosustow, Mal Brown, Nicky Winmar, John Gerovich, Ken Hunter,Jim and Phil Krakouer, Chris Lewis, John Worsfold, Norm Rogers, John McIntosh, Gerard Neesham, Mel Whinnen, Rob Wiley, Brian Foley, Keith Slater.

What it is a/man is stating the bleeding obvious. There is, as far as I am aware, one, AND ONLY ONE, legend that did not have an association with the VFL/AFL. He is Barrie Robran.

If you can't seriously think that people of the ilk of John Todd, Billy Walker, Bill Dempsey, Mel Whinnen, Stephen Michael (and I could go on) are not worthy of an AUSTRALIAN Aussie Rules Hall of Fame legend status? I could go into the reasons why each should be afforded Legend status but I am sure you are familiar with the names I mentioned.

Please feel to refute why any or all of the names I mentioned should not be afforded Legend status. However, suggesting that it is my anti-AFl bias is not a rationale for their non-selection as Legends.

Finally I will throw another name into the hat who even played in the VFL: Austin Robertson Jr.

Well deserved for playing and coaching.Not allways plain sailing for Malcom.Captain\Coach didn't work at the Roos.And something went wrong when sacked mid season by St Kilda.
Unlucky at Geelong in 89,92 just beaten by fantastic teams.94 was long finals campaign.97+98 two memroble Crows GF's wins.
Great to see Malcom finish his playing career back in SA where as C\C got Woodville in GF contension.

The Hall of Fame lacks credibility in my book because o its Vic centric bias. My views are nothing to do with being an SD member! Eg John Gerovich should be in well and truly before Ron Todd, John Coleman is already in too and I have heard anecdotally from those who saw both that Gero was better.
