Moreso after Cotchin's Crude Jumper Punch on Lachie Neale was more than that and on face value, should have got 2/3 weeks for it,minimum!

Two things: they used the Judd defence when he elbowed Pavlich in the face - insufficient force. And Ballantyne is playing so they can't victimise him by victimising him in giving him a higher penalty than others for the same alleged action.

Spot on Grass man, Tommy Hawkins got suspended for his jumper punch, nowhere near the force of Cotchins.......$$$ finds mean jack, Cotch on what $500,000 a year and gets fined $1000. Its peanuts for em. Suspend em that will really hurt em, but they aint got the guts to do that. A disgrace

Very good decision. I have always thought the jumper punch was a cowardly act. Hopefully they can rub it out (no pun intended)

Ya know guys i have NO drama as such with Tommahawk being rubbed out, what i do have a drama with is that he has been rubbed out twice, YET i cant recall anyone else being rubbed out in the last cuppla years. Its the inconsistances that shyte me.

Fair enough, but the bar has now been set. Nothing less will be acceptable.

Alas bullocks 58, the bar has been set, BUT it will move depending on the offender and/or club ( gws afl lovechild). There are supposeldy "bar sets"in all MRP rulings, they are all bullocks.

Remember the ol "head is"sacrosanct"ruling?? or remember Judds elbow on pav, split above his eye, no penalty of course. They are a dead set joke, as i said dont care who it is or from which club.

Unka2 apparently insufficient force. Would that have been the same year as he won the equivalent of the Sandover Medal?
