IMO it will all depend on Hawthorn's premiership window remaining open. If Hawthorn win the GF this year, buddy will go. If they don't win and he believes he has a better chance of winning a GF elsewhere he will go.

He will only stay if he believes he has a chance to win another one at Hawthorn.

In saying that, the money that will be offered to him will be huge.

Yeah, read the article.

Not sure how much money the Hawks could offer him, perhaps a third party deal could keep him at the club, al la Judd & Visy.

A/man despite what GW said last night - if circumstances changes so can Freo's position. What should not be forgotten however is that the HACKDORN has proven exactly what he is: a HACK.

Perhaps I can start a rumour that the sky is green, purple, red and white. I have no basis in fact but that should not be a barrier.

Quality journalism in Australia; it may exist but it is not in abundant supply.

Yes he has - I am not sure where (presumably online somewhere) - it was mentioned on 360 last night. They then showed R Lyon's response and consequently GW's decree/encyclical.

It would be interesting.
Lyon said that the Dockers already have things in place for the replacement of Pavlich when he decides to retire,
My thoughts would be that he will be grooming Nat Fyfe for the key forward position.I think he has what it takes to play at CHF.
Or maybe he sees some of this years recruits as being the answer.Players like Jack Hannath,Tanner Smith,Matt Tabener, maybe Alex Howson.

Fyfe at CHF???? what planet are you on? He will be one of the best ruck rovers Freo will ever have.
