I remember meeting Syd just after Juddy got the #5. He said that he would still be the greatest #5 ever at Carlton ( in jest). He was one of the nicest and funniest men I have ever met. Sat for around 6 hours with him, Rhys-Jones and Buckley. The most memorable day of my life!
