Dunno about that BC, that's two very embarrassing and humiliating defeats in finals in two years. This one at home, that has to be cause for concern for Adam Simpson. Last year's GF loss you can use excuses like first GF, played the Hawks at the MCG etc..... but can't use any of those excuses for this loss AT HOME against a side that has had a horror run of injuries this year. Eagles were without one key player.

It's probably mental as much as anything but they will not progress any further with this group in its current form. They need to find improvement and it's probably going to come from outside.

Wet and slippery conditions tonight I think that will favor the Hawks.

Didnt Lake win the Norm Smith playing on Pav PN?..yeah he kicked 3 but Lake ran off him all day setting up Hawthorn counter attacks....esp in that 1st half......1.6 to half time says it all really....

...I know Pav is a champ......deserves all the accolades he gets.....true JK is no Pav in terms of versatility.......but in this day n age where FF as a position doesnt exist anymore, JK more than holds his own and today 80 goal tallies are 100 goal equivalents from Dunstalls, Sumichs and Locketts era in my view....

Being at the game I can remember Gibson having the job on Pav and Mayne playing as a defensive fwd on Lake, Lake only really dominated in the last , tbh Gunston imo deserved the Norm Smith all I'm saying is kicking 3.2 in a GF isn't choking especially when the team only kicked eight.

Yeah fair due PN.....though a lot of Freo's senior boys failed to step up in that 1.6 first half....Pav included and TBH that is where the game was ultimately lost.......good comeback in the 3rd....., but Freo were always behind the 8 ball.

What drugs are you on the GF will rate the same as every year, and the NCG will have at least 90000 odd thousand supporters like every year regardless of who plays , and has Freo oval been half empty all year you've been on the piss since lunch eh.

When was the last time the MCG failed to pull a crowd of 90 plus thousand, there's talk of opposition supporters buying GWS memberships so they can get a ticket to the GF, and where did I say Peel would pull a crowd at the WAFL GF that ship has sailed you'd probably need Perth or Swans to pull a crowd of over 15000 again.
