I'm not condoning or criticizing the actions of one person other than to say she shouldn't be throwing stuff at anyone but it chits me that fans can boo Crowley, Boomer Harvey, umpires and that's not an issue..but as soon as it happens to an aboriginal player, straight away the PC brigade say its racially based.

Because the woman behind her had a go at the woman in question and she replied with why? Betts is a ******* monkey, pretty clear cut to me.

ok...and do we know if she made the comment based on his physical appearance or his race? does she consider all Aboriginal people to be monkeys or just Betts? did she do the same to Charlie Cameron?

BC the evidence from surrounding witnesses leaves the issue beyond doubt it was race related as have been numerous others , you can deny it as much as you like but sadly it's out there.

I read some where that a banana was thrown at a Black man in a soccer match he picked it up and preceded to eat it, but that's not the point I think it was in one of the Russian leagues they do have history with racism in that sport.

If you can find me a report of an black American African Maori or indigenous player being booed while conducting an indigenous dance or having a banana thrown at him or being called an ape in another code in Australia, NRL Soccer, basketball Or otherwise I'd be interested to know.
