Also reported was that Dangerfield has apologised to the spectators he trod on will be compensated for their bust pies and spilt beer.

Yes a bad decision a/man. Then again one Denis Cometti and Basil zempilas commented on many occassions how Geelong were "unfortuate" ( nice word) to not hve receievd a free, followed by the comment Freo have got most of the 50/50's tonight

Still, you're right, as soon as Danger runs on the field, the umps and game callers all get a little woody on.

I was devastated when I saw Maggets run out onto the grounf before the game.He certainly never does Fremantle any favours. There was one decision where he was standing in the forward pocket and close, very close tot he play.A blatant free to Pavlich I think it was and he called play on.The umpire who was 60 metres away called the free kick.
Then there was the out on the full free where all the umpires conferred.Maggets was in the right forward pocket 50 metres from where it happened. No body knew for sure, but Maggets in his wisdom saw fit to run in and make the decision that the ball was touched.
The commentators from the radio seemed to think that Freo got the wrong end of the stick.
But hey while there are three of them, we will never get any evenness in the awarding of frees. It is time to try out two umpires.Only my opinion , but I think something needs to be looked at.It certainly doesn't need four umpires as they are looking at.

We ca indeed go on and on, eg Menzels "non paid mark" in the 4th quarter, luckily the upms as bad as they were didt influenece the result in the end
