Are you for really grassy, you are talking about a 42 year old adult. I would of thought a person of that age would be living independently and making their own life choice decisions. Mainy was still playing and on WC list if I recall. Does your mother still make decisions for you????!!! After the unsavoury events at WC you would of thought other clubs would of been on the ball, but that does not appear to be the cases with your lot. One would have to ask how long it actually went on for before it all came out. The bombers should of been relegated back to the VFL for what they did to their players

It was sad what happened to Mainy, but the bloke was 42 year old. When did he last play for the WC. Don't get me wrong, in my opinion when they catch these low life dealers they should start feeding them their own stash to put them through some of their own misery.

Calls for WC to be deregistered, for a players drug culture, correct. I did not here the same call for derigistration of one the Vic based power club after their little episode. Double stardards.

My 2 cents worth....my understanding is that Mainy was no goodie two shoes with regards to having a dabble right thru his career, quite possibly his influence was part of the culture cancer that spread thru the Eagles during this period being that he was a bit of a ring leader and pier amongst that group. Nobody forced him to indulge, he made those choices himself. Definitely Isn't the first 'rock star' to die from drug abuse and/or overdose and won't be the last. More people die from legal drug abuse but we don't blame the doctors, pharmaceutical companies or the chemists who are actually the supplier of these drugs when sourced legally via script. With products like oxycodin (hillbilly heroin) maybe we should. Be it Legal or illegal supply we still all choose whether to administer these substances to our bodies. Only in circumstances where one is misled by others as to what they are administering will I ever hold the supplier(s) fully responsible. With this exception 99.9% all choose and unfortunately some lose.

As sad as it was for Mrs Mainy and kids losing their husband and Dad, it really is quite ancient history. For God's sake grassy and your minions, we know you live in the past, but how about a bit of today's news???
