Good call Anchor
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

First of all Kyle Reimers, who had the balls to refuse, and also spread the word through a stroy to Damian Barrett. Well done.He deserves a heap of credit for all the shit he copped from Mark McVeigh over what was going on.Karma is a bitch Spike, guess who doesn't have a job this season!!!!Suck eggs Spike.
To David Zaharakis, for also refusing to participate in the regime.Well done.
I also believe that Baguely didn't participate in it either.
I think the AFL, ASADA and WADA should be praising these players for NOT being drug cheats.
Far too much sympathy has been given to the cheats and not enough to those who didn't become like puppets.

Slattery is the most interesting one Anchor. By all reports didn't participate in the needle injections but has still been slapped a ban. How do you explain that???

Haha Reimers the smartest of the lot, McVeigh owes him an apology.

Whilst I support the gist of your comments A/man, one should put it into perspective that the ones you named actually have done nothing different to what most Olympian athletes are required to do on an ongoing basis.

I would also point out that in the Olympics in a sport like hockey, if one players returns a positive the entire team is disqualified.

Speaking of the Essendon players who didn't, they should be the ones who represent Essendon and Essendon SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN allowed to RAPE and PILLAGE other competitions to top up their lists. They should suffer the full consequences of their actions. If they can't fulfill those obligations then they should be kicked out of the competition until they are able to meet their obligations.

In your opinion A/man. In my opinion it is all related and specifically to speak to your point: why should any Essendon player receive kudos for doing what they are required to do and should do?

By the way thanks fella, I think it is time for us all to recognise that there were some who said now and acknowledge them.I think also, that the AFL and the other bodies, should be putting these guys in the lime light for praise.

"Problem – We now know that at least one player (Henry Slattery) did not take part in the injection program at all. That alone is sufficient to question the integrity of both WADA and the CAS concluding he used TB4, when quite clearly that is an absolute impossibility."

Took this from an article critiquing the pros and cons of the judgement Anchor. First time I'd read it and can only wonder if there is any truth in it. If so one must wonder why Slattery stuck with the 34. Loyalty to his mates perhaps.

Yeah 34 players couldn't say no or question the program and they reckon they were duped, either they were complicit or brain dead.

Peter, you are pretty up to date with this whole saga. Have you any idea why Slattery has copped the ban if he did not particpate in the injection program as reported? He is one of the 34.
