Many years ago the Premiership Coach was the coach of the year. Nowdays it seems to go to the coach who improves his club up the ladder. Clarkson hasn,t done that for a couples of years & may get it when they win next year.

The last 2 goals by West Coast don't count Hawks already with kids out on the ground, and on the dias getting medallions. Stop making excuses they were outclassed and got smashed a 100 point team bearley made it to 60 with 2 goals in "past red time"

As a Freo supporter I consider the Pav to be an absolute champion but my one and only criticism is that in recent times he tends to stage for frees a bit too much for my liking. i agree, he does draw the number 1 opposition defender and at times gets double teamed, but I wish he'd just keep his feet and not try to get frees. it seems in the last couple of years he drops to the ground at almost every opportunity in a contested situation which is not a good look.

Not the only one BC, think Walters is a fantastic footballer, but plays for free's too often. I read part of the book of Pav's in the Saturdays West, about Harvey out Lyon in, sounds like the book may be worth a full read. One thing that always irked me back in that era was they always kicked to Pav when he was double or tripled team, and never looked for the supposed loose players, so my assumption back then that Harvey was "just" a coach may have been right.

You still have not told us how you went as Coach in your juniors final ?

sorry mate...I thought I had...in a nutshell, we got smashed. much the same as the beags on saturday we missed a few opportunities in the first half and never recovered. shame as the guys were year 12s and it was their last game in junior footy...

Mike in response to the referral about Kennedy having two or three on him. Pavlich has played with that issue for the last ten years. No sooking from him about it.

Havent read anywhere that Kennedy has "sooked" either Anchor....Mikeh was just taking your lead mate and stating a fact.....interesting comments from BC about Pav too.....I reckon he is spot on as well......not too sure why Pav is playing on, got nothing to prove TBH.....
