Goldstein would of been one of the first picked.. not sure why you would say that as he had an outstanding year. Nic should of been on the bench & Walker at CHF with Riewoldt out also Kennedy from Swans should of been in instead of Gray.

All he had going for him was that he could jump, he looked exciting, he looked like he could make a footballer. He couldn't find the ball if they stuck it under his pillow. He would have battled to find a football in the Burley football factory, but was gifted a Guernsey.
This year where he has proven himself as a very, very, talented ruckman, one that could be the best in the competition this season, he gets nothing. I am surprised.
Yep I know I started a post here about he and Zac Clarke early in the season and bagged him, but he has proven me wrong since about the half way mark of the season.
I am gob smacked that Goldstein was selected ahead of him.

sorry Aman but I think Goldstein deserved it. He has been outstanding this year and the AA is based on what players have produced this year only. But the AA selectors made an error having just one ruckman, that is a total stuff up and either Naitanui or Sandilands should have got the nod as the second ruckman.
I was happy for Bob Murphy though.

anyway these things are all a matter of opinion and the public will never agree on anything. That's footy and the reason we all talk about it so much.

AA could be construed a mates club. How Deledio got in ahead of a few, and Gibson is in, is beyond me. Nic Nat unlucky, but so is Stefan Martin to even get recognized in the squad of 40.

If it is done on stats Martin beats Nic Nat nearly on bases

As someone tweeted

200 more disposals.
100 more marks.
30 less hitouts.
Stefan Martin v NicNat.
Remind me who's stiff again?

Then some wag replied "So Martin took 106 marks for the season then" :)

So if stats come into the equation there could be a reason NN might have missed

Martin & NN both played 20 games in the Home & Away
