Most people I have talked to this week have assumed that West Coast should be able to defeat the Kangaroos comfortably and therefore qualify for the Grand final. I tend to agree particularly as it appears that Priddis and Masten are fit and ready to play. Can anyone make a case for the roos? They have been pretty impressive in the two finals they have played so far and their tall forwards like Petrie and Waite could trouble the Eagles defence if they can get their share of midfield ball. Harvey will always be a threat and the clash between NicNat and Goldstein should be a beauty. Eagles by 5 goals I reckon.

Eagles by panels 50+. North beat a flat Sydney who butchered the ball last weekend, play a side who are 5 goals better at home this Saturday, no hope

I am worried, especially playing in Perth. North have some sore boys and I think Petrie's knee really copped a hammering against the Swans. But the last few months we have found a real steely resolve and whether that is enough to win, well I will take anything. I hope we can push the Eagles with height up forward, like Adelaide did. But its their pressure, it is very well organised. Its not random, they know when to pull the trigger and when to stay off. It is a fine science and it works. That is Norths challenge. Kangaroos to win by a whisker. North v Freo Grand Final.

Love for a North win. BUT they took 3 and half quarters to beat a team with no forwards.
5 goals plus for the eags ( sadly ) i think.

Why unk? Surely as an imported Sandgroper, you'd be hoping for a home team win    Once a vic, always a vic hey? ;)
Seriously though, I hate all this over confidence. Eagles are a better side, but they just have to have a bad day and it's all over. It ain't won till its won!

BC, the last thing I'm going to do is get into the same old argument we've had here several times - who boos the most? However, I do find that statement a bit rich coming from a Dorkers supporter. I watch a fair bit of VFL and can't really pick who is the worst.

I'm liking this less and less. All the media have just handed the Eagles an easy win - even the east coasters. Recipe for disaster and perhaps that's how the vics want it.

Vics???, you mean NORTH supporters 58? Its not state v state mate.

I think you would be pleasantly surprised how many supporters who live in Vic want the eags to beat hawks if they were to meet in the same GF. Reckon any WA supporters would want North to beat Freo should the scenario eventuate???
