A week off at this time of the year is like gold, in terms of resting tired bodies and more importantly no travel. West Coast will not have travelled for a month by the time they go to Melbourne for the GF if they make it.

I think both North Melbourne and Adelaide have a reasonable chance of beating their opponents this weekend. If I had to pick one upset I would go for the Kangas who are playing a Swans team who have a lot of injuries and other distractions. Having said that, the Swans do play ANZ stadium very well.

It is going to be tough for the winners to come to Perth and play rested teams so I think there is a high probability that there will be a derby Grand Final.

Looks like the Hawks will touch up the Crows - not surprising really. Changed my mind on tomorrow's game. Sydney to win. As for a derby gf, I feel that the press are getting ahead of themselves (that's unusual isn't it???). I've been listening to the "experts" all week tell me that Hawks are at the end of an era. Yeah right!! Don't be surprised to see them in the last game of the year.

The Hawks are doing what they should do to a 7th place team, bruise free footy at its best I'm still tipping Freo next week last two finals in the West the Hawks have copped a flogging different ball game at Subi.

You obviously wasn't watching G Whately yesterday when he said that he wasn't sure whether Hawthorn would win the GF. It was an unqualified statement.

No disrespect to the Hawks but does this even resemble a finals game, the Crows had a dip for about ten minutes and then through the towel in.
