Can anyone explain to me why Scultz got exonerated for his sling tackle while Gibbs got 2 weeks? I know the official explanation but I had a look at both tackles tonight and I could not see much difference to be honest. The impact on the tackled player was pretty much the same. The match review panel has made a rod for it's own back I fear.

Well this former great sport, now officially a reality tv GAME, has judges like all reality tv shows, who make judgements on the contestants ( players). Next year we will fly in people form other sports to the AFL, to give it an international flavour.

Haven't you worked it out. Port can make the finals, Carlton cant. Bit like Lewis & Franklin's light penalties. The higher your team gets, the easier to got off or lighter sentences. Pee week.

The difference is that Gibbs had much more control of the direction of the tackle than Schulz. If you can't pick the double motion in Gibbs tackle that wasn't present in Schulz tackle then also pay attention to the tacklers feet, Gibbs had both feet on the ground giving him much more control whereas Schulz was barely able to reach the ground with the tackle going in a direction resulting from the initial tackle combined with Richards attempt to evade and break the tackle.
