Just browsing the fixtures, I have some concerns for North Melbourne and the challenges ahead. This probably goes for a few clubs who were touted as either top four or finalists.

Looking at the Kangaroos, our first up disaster against Adelaide and last weeks win over a depleted Lions, we have some serious challenges ahead. This weekend we face a desperate Port Adelaide, then again a desperate Geelong at Skilled, Hawthorn, Richmond, Essendon and Fremantle (at Subiaco). If we are not on our game we could easily find ourselves 2-6 or worst case 1-7. We did knock off Fremantle last year in Perth, but we know that will be a tough ask this year. And our record against top sides has been very good.

Port Adelaide are very interesting. They are 0-2 and face North Melb, Hawthorn and Adelaide. All tough games especially if your not in form. It will be a very interesting game against NM this weekend. If they end up 1-4 or worse still 0-5, I cant see them making the all crucial top four.

The Cats were rattled in a big way by the Dockers. They exposed a lot of problems at Geelong. I even think they will find it hard against the Suns this week, though I will tip the Cats. But ahead they have North Melb, Richmond, Collingwood and Sydney (in Sydney). They could be looking at perhaps a 2-5 or 1-6 start. Very foreign to the Cats.

The Suns and Eade have some huge question marks. Now 0-2 with losses to Melbourne & St.Kilda is the worst possible start by any team in the AFL. The AFL designed that start to have them 2-0 and they have blown it in a huge way. They now face Geelong, Giants (not easy), Brisbane, Adelaide, WestCoast (at Subiaco), Collingwood, Hawthorn, Sydney and Fremantle. I can see them looking at perhaps a start around 2-9. This would be a huge blotch on Eade's book in my opinion.

Its early days and things can change real quick as we know, but boy there are some clubs already under huge pressure after just two rounds.

I think the main 3 clubs in Hawthorn, Sydney and Fremantle will still feel good about things ahead. The jury is still out on Adelaide until we see more of them. But they look to be a side responding to some coaching hardness.

Just heard Ablett has been ruled out with that shoulder this week. Pencil the Cats in for a first up win there. Suns in a huge hole it seems.

if Port are 0-5 after the next few weeks I wonder what Paddy will have to say to Mrs Ryder? Go North!!!

GCS are currently looking like the worst team in the AFL. Absolutely shithouse.
Not sure if you guys read the articel on the AFL website, but I think it was Gorringe was saying that the playing group had definitely not put in the work required over the off/preseason and they thought that success would just happen due to the talent in their team....

Declaring 2015 a premiership window a few seasons back then sacking McKenna to appoint Eade reeks of the typical Gold Coast arrogance their sporting teams historically display before the inevitable collapse and disappearance in to the sporting world abyss. IMO Eade was the final nail in their coffin.

Agree DW, eade i reckon is over rated anyway, PLUS his fire and brimstone approach doesnt cut it with the gen Y's these days.

On the same page today Unk....Gen Y comment is the same reason I believe McKenna should never had been sacked....done all the hard yards then some unrealistic suit in charge attempts to take shortcuts. Will get what it deserves and possibly be a club killer

Gold Coast, Carlton, Geelong and Collingwood all under pressure.
Gold Coast are disappointing and getting rid of McKenna and bringing an older Coach in was a mistake.
Hope the Gold Coast finish last, which their form suggests they can achieve.

Who said there is no such thing as ageism??
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

TFAF if ageism is a word then that's what it is, The 2 Coaches under pressure are Mick and Eade.
You are probably younger than Eade so you shouldn't be offended
