Don't know how many saw it, but that last 5 minutes of the Hawks Bombers game was probably the most amazing footy Ive seen for years. I had to put my distain for Hird behind me and just enjoy the contest, and how Essendon managed to win it still has me scratching my head. And with Bruest missing out on the winning goal by 1 second was just remarkable.

For all the naysayers these days, this game probably summed up why our code is the greatest game around. Just an incredible finish you could not have scripted. If you missed it, I suggest you try and get a some vision of the last quarter.

The players are definitely playing for Hird! You do not win a game of football in that manner not playing for your coach. This was justified by the players embracing Hird after the game.

Knowing a couple of players at the Bombers I can tell you they are playing for Hird. Was just the Media writing drivel.

Playing for slime bag Hird, says a lot about the mentality of the players for mine. Just want em to lose every game they play. disgrace to the comp, aided by the corrupt BUSINESS that calls itself AFL

Interestingly was the same coach (albeit assistant initially at Essendon) and fitness manager at Geelong during their golden run from 2007. But I am sure there is nothing to see there eh?

We didnt get hauled up, and like other teams got a clean bill of health.

Caro isnt in the Essendon love in media group, niether is John Fahey, or Roy Masters for that matter of fact!!

They play for Jobe....he is the spiritual leader at the club
