When Callum Sinclair is fit and right to play would like to see how he goes down back has the height and agility and loves the contest.Yeo and Hurn fighting out of their weight division if they are going to play on the second tall. Our mids are so average at best ,Shuey ,Scott Sellwod,Masten,Gaff struggle against the A graders.Hopefully the nxt gen Dom Sheed,Liam Duigan can turn it around in a couple of years.I really think our recruiting has been off for a while.Brad Sheppard pick 7 really think Fyfe went 20 in the same draft.

Brown confirmed out for the season :(

Agree with Bodie regarding most of the mids. Think you are being harsh on Scooter though. I really wish they wouldnt play him as a tagger.

This type of luck/bad luck is strewn through the comp. Brett Heady - pick 92; Dean Kemp - pick 117.
2x25= Seinor and Michael = 1xBrian Peake

Yes thats true 58Shark with Heady and Kemp but that was over 20 years ago, these days each AFL club has scouts at WAFL,VFL,SANFL at most games and WCE have got it wrong for a while now ,Tom Swift went pretty high there have been quite a few actually to many i think.Yes you will get a few wrong and a few bargains like Jack Darling and Jeremy Mcgovern just think WCE are on the wrong wide of getting it right with their picks the past 5 years at least.

This season is unofficially over.
No one wins the flag with their two biggest bodied defenders out.
Masten has to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn Ebert for leaving.
Wellingham under whelming however I think he was off the halfback.
Better to have NicNat than not.
If we are talking draft picks....Notte pick 20, Tex Walker pick 76.
Hard ball getters win games, Gaff, Masten, Shuey... Seagulls.
Selwood as a tagger is no good, we need Hutchings back pronto.
Eagles might be able to stem the flow but we are going down.
I hope Paddy Brophy moves up from rookie.

there must be questions over WCE recruiting the last 5 years.
where Freo has unearthed ready to go players I think.

I still wonder why WCE recruited Lucas from Carlton? He doesn't use the ball well and considering he wasn't wanted at Csrton , why recruit him? If it is because he is from WA, then that probably sums up where they are today.

WCE should of went hell for leather after Bomber Thompson when he was available last year.. give him 10 years & tell him we need a flag in that time. Simpson is too inexperienced, also their mids are too undersized.. Look at Freo's mids they are all six foot one plus & big bodied WCE have Masten, Shuey, Gaff who are just not hard enough. They will be bottom 4 this year.

Height is handy, but Hawthorn mids are all average size.
It is intensity and venom we need. Not haircuts.

The trend against Naitanui is that everyone can see what he may be capable of and that he doesn't do it. However
HITOUTS / TACKLES / DISPOSALS / GOALS
Naitanui 38 / 2 / 15 / 1
Goldstein 35 / 4 / 10 / -
Sandilands 35 / 0 / 11 / -
Grundy 31 / 3 / 13 / -
Jacobs 26 / 1 / 13 / -
Maric 33 / 4 / 13 / -

NicNat holds his own with every ruckman in the comp.
