We are not talking about radio here Hideaway, we are talking about TELEVISION. Foxtel in particular. This is a service that we pay for. We deserve better from our server.
I wonder could it be that Channel 7 actually pay Nic Nat and Pavlich to make appearances on their station. If you don't like it turn it over to channel 9 and watch Cox and Lyon. Radio and free to air television if free and you can decide what you want with it. Turn it off it costs you nothing, you pay for Fox you expect something more than an amateur hour of commentary. I am not sure if you really understand that, but maybe it will sink in soon.

Any things better than the sound of Eddie Everywhere's voice in commentary Anchor...give me subtitles any day of the week....I use them all the time with the South American house mates I share with so they can understand a little better by reading the English rather than trying to interpret the constant groaning of Ed...even with their complete lack of knowledge re Aussie rules they still reckon he's a dick

Thats all he does - complain, theres options there for him, just like here the local radio stations broadcast with a local slant, the TV stations know the vast majority of their viewers are on their east coast and not in perth so they do accordingly.

Its not the point.
The point is, commentators should be unbias towards either of the teams they are commentating on. Anyone listening to commentary on TV or radio shouldnt have to put up with bias comments towards one team and against another.

in some ways it would be good to do what you are saying - we could then get rid of all commercial radio and tv commentators on all sports.
the commonwealth games will be good - we can just watch the tv without any sound but we could also do that by turning the sound down.
and no more ch9 cricket commentators !
