IMO he should retire and make that decision soon and the club should let him a farewell game at home. The Eagles need to go with youth and they can't afford to lose Lycett or Sinclair who show good potential. If he decides to stay on the Eagles run the risk of losing Lycett who they have invested 4 or 5 seasons in and Cox would have one more year at best and he is way past his best. A great player but I think he needs to put the club before himself.

If cox goes around next year he is only playing for personal glory, he needs to retire. Playing for free kicks like he does makes him look very bad!

All the talk about should he or shouldn't he. Make no mistake, Coxy and the club have talked and the decision has been made. Simpson will want to build his own team, so I reckon we'll see him as full time ruck coach next year.

I think Sharks right, the end of the season will see Coxy off, hopefully they give him a good send off at Subi second last game. Has been an absolute champion.

Agree with everything that has been said here. He definitely needs to retire. He has been hands down the best ruckman of the modern era, but its time to hang the boots up with pride.
