Anchorman, the fact is that two of the biggest scandals in AFL history happened under his watch and it seemed to me that he was unwilling to take responsibility, preferring to shift the blame elsewhere. He appeared to be very fixed in his views and extensive consultation didn't appear to be part of his process. There is no doubt that the game has grown under his stewardship however the jury is still out on some of his pet projects such as the move into Western Sydney. The new guy will be a lot more collaborative in his style and I expect football to benefit from this approach

He made the BUSINESS a lot of money. Thats what it is about nowadays

Can anyone list anything good this bloke has done in his 10+ years for football in WA?
In fact his last "project" before leaving the post was this equalisation crap which is all about making teams who should not even be in an elite AFL competition like Footscray, North Melbourne, St Kilda, Melbourne financially competitive against the big boys!
Dont be surprised if that entails the WA football clubs and or WA football supporting public somehow paying for these old VFL clubs survival long term!

Nothing to do with fairness or whatever is all about $$$. Gotta have 9 games to broadcast to keep foxtel and chanel 7 "happy", as they provide the major income. Whether (in thier eyes) that comes at the expense of WA they dont care. is that right , a resounding NO. will it change?, also a resounding NO
Its no longer a sport, is a game wrapped up as entertainment.
