I am not sure whether Sydney were that good or were Geelong that bad.
Have to say Sydney looked very very good tonight, very quick, very slick and their skills were impeccable.
Maybe now Sydney have over taken Port as the favourites for the number one position.I think a lot of sides will be a wee bit scared of facing Sydney from here in, particularly at the SCG. Their big forwards Tippett ,Franklin and Goodes all chimed in with goals.Going to be hard to stop them.

Luckily Bunnings was closed, so i couldnt get any hose or tape so i am still here!!. Scary thing is the swans probably shouldhavekicked another 5 or 6. They are/were very very good last night. Loooked like they had 30 players on the field. Gee they were hungry for the ball. Obvioulsy the cats were diabolical. We also payed the priced for the arrogant selection of smedts (dont rate him anyway), who played 1/2 a game in the VFL after 10 weeks out with a leg injury straight back in. Dumb dumb dumb. Well palyed Swans, top effort

The Swans huge salary cap advantage the AFL has allowed them is really cashing in for them . Logically there is no way they are a 110 point better side than Geelong. They have a totally unfair advantage the other 17 clubs don't have and its all because the AFL are so paranoid about Rugby & Soccer up there.

Its amazing some AFL clubs don't even have a full forward. Sydney have snared two of the leading ones form two powerful football clubs. That is not through smart recruiting, that is through having the finances handed to them to do so.

Its bloody not right in my opinion. Another AFL discrepancy.

Correct Jardine. Laughed at the last goal, the only angle was a front on shot, dont know why they bothered, that angle was useless. Next?, ohh thats easy, Aussie of the years hit on Selwood, head high, no eyes for the ball. Of course he will get off. The buffons on TV not ONE had the balls to say he would or should be suspended. Now if it were Ballentyne or Stevie J, it would be a diff case. Goodes is a very good footballer, buthe has history in this sort of thing

Man that was a diabolical game last night. I cant believe the difference between the 2 teams. I had so much anticipation that it was going to be a tight match too!
Im not sure how much difference this would have made, but the Cats were also coming off 2x 6 day breaks which included the trip back from Perth. Surely this would have effected the players a bit too? All it takes in AFL these days is to be 5% off your best and you get burnt.

Goodes wont get referred as it is Indigenous Round. He knew Selwood was there. BUT Brownlow winner & Aussie of the year. Never seems to make contact with brothers. Use By date is nearing.

I look forward to White Man Round, when all white players are barred from report based on their colour. Oh hang on, that is racist. It wont happen.

Nat Fyfe would be livid if he gets off.

I reckon some of the hits that have gone through to the keeper since Fyfe's would make him livid anyway. How can anyone get rubbed out for an accidental clash of heads?

If the AFL/WAFL is so hell bent on protecting the head region why haven't they cited Lycett for his hit on Colledge in the Foxtel Cup. So what if he's a teammate...Lycett could have pulled out when seeing the oncoming Colledge and as such, you could argue it was preventable thereby a reckless act which saw a player quite seriously injured. If they were on opposing sides, I wonder if he would have been charged then?
