An umpire gets pole-axed in the Salary Cap Workers v the Peppy Boys tonight. As he is taken off in the injury cart, there is a loud booing to him. That's the most disgraceful thing I have ever seen at the football. The umps should say - you don't want us...ok we wont umpire this weekend. Wonder how many games would go ahead???? Hey unk, I didn't realize that so many WCE supporters would be at a swans/esserden game

That ridiculous $$ advantage the idiots at the AFL gave the Swans is now taking effect. Makes me sick seeing the AFLs love child have 2 forwards basically on a million each is just a joke. The Crows and Hawks must feel totally cheated. If the fixtures imbalance isn't enough to highlight the unfair advantage in a so called elite league, then giving a club a financial leg up so Rugby League can be challenged, is just lamentable. I get sick watching Sydney these days based on that.

Yea I cant believe that the crowd was booing the umpire. The poor bloke got knocked out cold, was vommiting on the field and had to get stretchered off. No one deserves that shit.

As a Bombers supporter I'm disgusted in what I observed....impossible to defend our supporter's behaviour no matter what the perceived history is with the ump. A very dark moment for our footy club who should be on the front foot apologising directly to the ump,his family and the umpiring fraternity in general.
